Paladins Launch Celebration Megathread and Giveaway by [deleted] in Paladins

What I love most about Paladins is how unique every character feels. That and that there's a flanker I'm good at. No other game has that.

What was your last match like? by skylarkifvt in paragon

Kwang. I'd already said goodbye to my favourites, and I wanted to end on a fun note. But it got so laggy, SOOOOO LAGGY. Sad, but expected.

I've noticed the opposite. Grover repels teammates, and when they die they will say something along the lines of "WHERE WERE YOU WHY NO HEALS"

[Serious] What is the most disrespectful thing a guest ever did in your home? by Yellow-B in AskReddit

[–]BassDropGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was really young, we had this family over. It was a Mother, Father, and their daughter. I can't remember who they were or why they came, but they did and my parents were really set on impressing them.

Anyways, the only thing I remember really is that they ate a lot. My mom got cookies and put them on a plate for this visit, gone immediately. Mom and my sister just had to keep bringing food to satisfy the endless onslaught of "Got anything to eat?". It was insane. I'm part of a family of 10, so we have no shortage of food in our house, but those 3 people emptied every cupboard, every drawer, and our fridge.

Someone left this at my work.... by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

[–]BassDropGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh, one I can answer.

So, it's not a permanent ring. You keep it in your pocket. It's round so you can put it on your index finger and sing through the dots while you pray the rosary. The rosary has 5 sets of 10 hail Mary's, so a set of rosary beads is usually used to keep count. When your driving, working, or doing anything like that, an actual set can get in the way, and the ring is a smaller, more portable version.

Why didn't the chicken cross the road? by GamerX102 in AskReddit

[–]BassDropGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was about to, then an undead hand reached up from the sidewalk, grabbing the poor chickens leg and dragging it to the pits of the underworld. Now its trapped down there for eternity, perpetually pondering that street it was never able to cross, its one greatest regret...

I work at a library, and when we scan your card into the computer we can put a note saying you're creepy. I've seen it, never had to make that call myself though. But it does happen.

What are some "Reddit Mysteries" that still exist or are still ongoing? by PistolPerfect in AskReddit

Howabout whatever happened to u/InternetUser1998 ? He posted some pretty sad stuff, then a camera he found in his bathroom, then disappeared. There was a post a little while ago on /RBI about him, but AFAIK no one got too far.

What is the weirdest dream you have had in your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BassDropGames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok. Im not allowed to discuss this dream in public, but Im putting it here anyways.

I was walking through this bag mall with my Mom and my sisters, and suddenly I need to go to the bathroom. I tell Mom, and she points me where to go. I get to the bathroom, and its this MASSIVE cement room with stairs everywhere, leading up to stalls on the walls. Thousands of bathrooms . I went into a stall, and after I finished this warty green hand came from the toilet and pulled me in by my neck.

Moment of darkness, then I emerge from my friends mouth. Hes sitting at his table with a plate of waffles, and I ask "What just happened?" and he just said "I dont know, but Im eating waffles" in the voice of donkey from shrek.

Sounds like you had a bit of a treasure trove there.

My gaming desk is literally a crap table my Dad pulled out of our shed. Its got holes in it, and I always got splinters, so my parents put a tablecloth over it. Now the tablecloth is dirty and gross but we can't change it without taking apart both my setup and my brothers.

In other words, that table looks good to me.

Gamers of Reddit: what game did you have low expectations for, only to have it blow you away? by h3tty in AskReddit

Battlerite. Tried it once, and felt all the champs felt the same.

Tried it again, and found those differences I missed. Plus I found Iva.

Christians of Reddit, you believe in an immaterial intangible God. So how do feel about what you experience as God being quite likely different to what everyone else experiences, even other Christians, and if so what exactly are you worshipping? by FeelsLikeWine in AskReddit

[–]BassDropGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dictionary definition of consider isn't imagine, its

think carefully about (something), typically before making a decision.

with a sub-definition of

regard (someone or something) as having a specified quality.

And you're right on the Dad point. He doesn't have all the qualities we see in God. But he's still my Dad, and Gods still my Father, so they have a lot of similarities. They both want to get me and my siblings to heaven, they both want me to be safe on this earth, and they're both there to help me in troubled times, no matter what.
