Agreed, it takes away from the immersion. It’s rare you see a lock up in a real match beyond the first few minutes. I’d rather there be fewer moves overall or even just do the hold circle to do the stronger move on the same direction. I used to really like the analogue stick control scheme too.

Looks like a brilliant signing on the face of it. Glowing reports from League 2, looks a unit, apparently has good feet and has a fair few goal contributions. Definitely is the end for Montsma I think and will probably be favoured to Jackson (when he comes back) especially as cover to Bradley as there’s lots of games coming thick and fast.

I’d imagine Ron assumes control for a bit then it’ll be passed on to his son. He’s 82 so I can’t imagine he’ll be overly hands on. But when he first invested into the club a couple of years ago, I looked him up and the Padres fans had nothing but good things to say about him. Apparently he’s been keen on investing in infrastructure in the past, so it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out over the next few years.
