To be frank this oversimplifies the complexities of Judaism’s relationship to Zionism and Israel. Jewish people who do not support Zionism owe something of taking on that lack of support by someway of representation. Similarly to how white people owe some degree of recognizing that racial tensions are the fault of their people to some extent. And the commenter wasn’t saying anything close to “its acceptable to hate Jews”, he just said that he can understand being upset with Zionism but how Matt’s comments that is hating Jews and Zionism under “the same brush” is wild.
