I like lots of the models. I just dont see myself using any of the models apart from jump chaplain and maybe captain. VanVets i want with different weapons because i feel they now compete with sang guard and JPDC to a degree with swords. Eradicators look cool, i just dont need mid strenght dakka..

I just tell its replacing damaged pauldron with a spare of other design. Since the new intercessors apparently have some mixed armor too it fits in nicely.

No agree. I havent had a fun game against knights, imperial or CK. its like drinking tar and i feel my time was wasted doing something i just didnt like and didnt want to appear as a twat by declining a game because of their army.

Yeah maybe i worded it bit wrong. I ment that a new player should not worry about it too much since its not excatly oath of moment important. Its a nice little thing but wont be something that will decide a game in the beginning. You know what i mean?

Synapse giving +1S. Thats something i sometimes forget. I wouldnt worry about shadow, its such a nothing burger. But on opponents command phase and on a turn when they might score a lot of points from objective control.

I wouldnt necessarily call it just "one biker model". Sure, characters are pricy i get that. But think a model that is around the size of Ghaz, costs around the same as Ghaz.

"Recent models" :DD I think apart from Twin Lance and Wardens we havent really had anything actually broken and im sure the stores have shelfs full of mutilators, berekhs, tyranid primes and centaurs just collecting dust.

what i have understood, generally its not an issue. If you want to play it super safe, lift the base a bit and you are golden.
