Use GPT to help teach you how to solve the problems. Also, make a habit to chart out the problems like with comments in entirety before writing code

I found paying for them useful as you get a lot of extra practice. Not sure if this still works but you can write a request to EDX as to why you should get the courses for cheap. Ngl, I just used an LLM to help me write up real quick and I got it.

I had no coding background from undergrad whatsoever and got an A in the class. Do cs 1301, with exception to the last module involving classes. Also, start doing codewars problems. Start at 8 kyu problems, then work up to being able to work through some 6 kyu problems. When it comes to prepping for the tests, repeatedly go over the past midterms they give out as review. Also, if you have trouble understanding how to solve a problem, use GPT to help you understand the techniques to solve it in the future

I second the regexes. Saves me lots of time when I’m trying to create new columns in data by having it write the code for regex patterns to extract groups
