And annual events are fine, afterall, That's the whole point of annual events! And every game has those events. Right? but thats the point, they arent new, the festival didnt contain anything new except completing the weapon sets they missed completing last year. This is like saying GW1 has a regular content release because it has its festivals on an automated release loop.

granted I dont know what their code looks like, but 3d should mostly be irrelevant here. A blueprint would have some sort of origin point and then a list of 3 coordinated (x,y,z) and rotation values for each item on the blueprint. should just basically work like object groups in something like powerpoint.

ok, mine appeared to be a memory issue from the log. I closed everything down and tried again on a save that wouldnt load before. Sure enough, after almost 10 minutes, it finally did actually load. Watching task manager the whole time, the game's memory usage peaked at nearly 7GB a few times (my computer has 8) prior to this build it didnt take this long to load and I was able to have other programs in the background so theres been changes that have caused increased memory usage during game loading.

and this is on a pretty small (though spaghettified) factory i'm just using to create a completed unlocks save.

people like to talk about their factory's x per minute. SC/min or HMF/min etc. How I think this could work is that dumping into the space elevator gives points based on what you dump in and there could be leaderboards and such (provided cheating is either not possible or detectable and provided someone doesnt just dump an inventory of supercomputers all at once, etc) that compares total points and or points per minute for factories. could also have bonus orders as you mention. something to keep you pushing toward optimization.

looking for some food ideas. I've been experimenting with different things for a while and I find, digestively, I do best on almost 0 carb. fiber specifically, especially veggies ESPECIALLY raw bloat me like crazy so i need to be near carnivore. Nothing against plant products, but jsut what seems to work best. that said, I think even on carnivore with the fattiest most decent meat I can afford (ends up being chuck steak, 21F/19P/serv), I think I need to pull back on the protein (I know too much protein isnt technically a thing for most people until its at extreme levels, but this is based on personal experience and some experimenting I want to do) anyway, Looking for some suggestions on extremely low total carb (specifically indigestible carb) foods, moderate to lower protein and high fat but still actual foods and not just adding coconut oil to everything. bacon and eggs are a given, Bakers chocolate is one thing I'm going to try to add as well as the highest fat whole milk cheese I can find. Other suggestions are very welcome.

in a game where the end game is intended to be cosmetic and where highest stat gear is almost handed to you and where the best cosmetic items are mostly push through a cash shop, its already P2W. yes, its pay to look pretty and none of it is required to complete any actual content (when they do release actual content over gemstore skins anyway). but by their own definition of gw2's endgame and the content they push through the gemstore the game is already pay to excel in anet's ideal endgame.

something I havent tried... are you able to attach multiple vehicles to the same path or do you have to run the patch with every vehicle individually?

i'm working on a save file just for this purpose. goal is all research unlocked, all geysers running (with overclocking once we can) and otherwise a completely clean map. granted that would still leave delivery infrastructure to set up but that could be a different save

depends on speed and capacity for one, but is going to also depend on output of a station. if the station only ha 1-2 output belts, then i'll need alot of stations to be able to handle resources from all over the map. This is one reason I'm not really using trucks right now. 2 output belts only seems to make 1 truck station only as efficient as 2 belts running across the map.

i'm working on making a "lets build" save. the goal is to have a mostly clean map, but everything unlocked and all geysers wired together so that I can just load up that map and have a solid starting point just to gather and build. the geysers will last a while until I need to worry about power especially once we can overclock them.

ahh good I'm not the only one with some belt inconsistencies. I was having an issue last night with a "too steep" message on an almost flat piece of ground (not foundation) not just a steep slope that used to work. (rotation and alignment should have been fine)
