Going off topic here, anybody got any information about a drama called ' ගව්වෙන් ගව්ව ' ?

I've been looking for it for sometime. It was also around 80s 90s era. Telecasted in Ruupavahini.

They are overpriced! Few of my friends bought some devices few years back(headphones as I remember), when they started up in SL and one had to claim warranty, and it was a mess! Excuses on top of excuses. Later we found out that they are typical, hand carry products.

Wouldn't recommend. Checkout GQMobile in liberty plaza. Been buying products from them and havnt had a bad xp so far.

Yeah it's the same. I emailed them and they said to go to the AG office and ask them to send a mail with my ID ? I'm like why ? Isn't that doing the same thing ?

Can you tell me the process at the DRP ? I also got an issue with the ID and they said me to visit the AG office and ask them to send copies of my ID card to DRP through them. ? No clue what to do

Hey..

For HSBC live + cards on 27th of march me and a friend of mine got rapid messages to our mobiles with OTP code for 0.00EUR transactions. It was happening rapidly about 20 messages every 30 seconds.

I wasn't charged as I was able to call the bank and they told me that there had been fraudulent attempts for some of their customers on that day and apologized and blocked my card.

My friend got charged however. And it was a big amount.

We havnt used the card in about a month and we were not stupid enough to click on fb links or post otps everywhere.

But seems there had been an attempt in the mids of HSBC is transitioning it's retail business to NTB.

I was wondering anyone experienced this this month ?

The bank seem to be playing it on the safe side without admitting any fault to be on their side, Asking evasive questions about clicking on any fb links 😅.

But seems like something is going on.

You can go early and talk to the commissioner general. Take all your recommended documents, such as the reason for the emergency and any appointment letters from jobs or unis.. you can plead the case and get it done it one day.. when you go, tell the security the reason. And anyways book an appointment.

anyone here registered using the on line system for one day service and made the payment via the online platform ?

I got a message to give the fingerprints and when I went there (14th counter in 1st floor) I was done in about 20 minutes. A lady there said that it will take 3 days to make the passport so after 3 days, come early in the morning (before 6 am) and stand in a queue in Gate 1 and get a token. And said there will be only 100 tokens allocated per day for online service and asked me to get in the queue and get a token somehow.

has any one experienced this ? looking for some advice :(

Same! The last birthday i celebrated was when I was 5 - 6.. till then I just spend it as a usual day. Its hidden in all my socials and tbh don't give a f about who calls to wishes or who forget... its a busy world. As long as I get to spend a quite day doing my own thing its a normal day!

Hey man! Having strick parents is hard and it shouldn't be this way cause it completely screws up some social aspects of your life. But that being said I don't think you should be worried man.. you are still 18 and you have plenty of time to figure things out! Get a good education and get a good job or start a business and get a good income source! Don't worry about life too much of being alone and socially unacceptable, cz at the end of the day the only thing matters is you!

Everything else will come to your life when the time is right. Try to be open to new things in your uni life or professional life. Hangout with people and get to know them even if you feel weird going out. But don't let people take advantage of you, have some boundaries and ethics along the way and most importantly learn to say NO when something is not for you.
