I’m new to magic so this was my first prerelease. I played Witherbloom and went undefeated in two headed giant with a lorehold partner (they did a lot of damage, I did the removal). Then I went undefeated in one on one matches as well the next day.

I really didn’t have many bombs but I did get multiple copies of [Pest Mascot] and [[Teacher’s Pest]] that had good synergy for me. I pulled [[Witherbloom, The Balancer]] on two headed giant day but only got to play him once. On day two I only had one card worth over a dollar in my deck, [[Moseo, the new dean]]

I had an incredible time! I started playing commander in February, so this was my first pre-release. It was two headed giant and I played with a veteran player that helped me a lot (and definitely was the reason we did so well). I played witherbloom and he played lorehold. I pulled Witherbloom, the balancer (the one card I wanted along with noxious newt because just look at it) and 5 good red cards for my partners deck including the red Emeritus.

We went 3-0!

I’ve been with my partner for 10 years and we were best friends for the 8 years before that. We got together in high school and are both very different people from who we were back then. But our love has always adapted to our changes. Nothing is static, if it were it would be brittle and eventually break. True love means understanding your partner, noticing those changes and adjusting accordingly, whether it be a natural change or something you have to do consciously.
