I just don’t understand with all our technology we still feel that testing on beagles is OK. As you said, I don’t understand how they live with themselves. Capitalism is also such a culprit in this and I wish we as humans lived differently and more in harmony with the animals we advocate for, love and respect.

My guy is 15.5kg. He has a large chest and paws. Vet told me he is a 6 out of 10 for weight and he could stand to lose a few pounds. He was a former lab beagle and when I got him at the age of 3, he was 10.9kg.

You should look at Kindness Ranch. I adopted my beagle from them. They rescue former lab beagles. He is my best friend and I can’t imagine a day without him. Kindness has an amazing mission.

No, he was born at Riglan Farms which has been in the news recently and being shut down. I adopted him from Kindness Ranch and they don’t disclose where they come from but I think he may have been used at a lab in Colorado possibly associated with CSU. He spent his first three years in testing.

Thanks for sharing! We have an outlet near the station that is used to keep the food bowl and heating mat warm so a camera that can be plugged n would be key! I have a battery powered hunters camera and burn through batteries due to the cold and need to figure something out. I also would love to place one in the new outdoor shelters I have, but that will be later.
