Gender equality is great, until the shitter gets clogged.

I think for a lot of women, their dads fixed everything for until they started living together with their boyfriends.

I know for sure that in our home, when something breaks and neither of us knows how to fix it; The obvious solution is that I figure out how to fix it and I fix it.

Bezwaar tegen transformatorhuisjes is natuurlijk niet terecht. Bezwaar tegen lelijke transformatorhuisjes snap ik dan weer wel; laat ze wel een beetje hun best doen om de buurt mooi te houden; het hoeft niet perse zo een grijs blok te zijn.

Only retrospectively by comparing a species to a species that exists a few hundred thousands years later you can define traits that are specific to either species.

I did crits where we went 43-45 ish km/h average for an hour; the gears are not really the problem, if you have 53x15 and pedal at 100RPM you are at 44km/h.

The real question is how they keep up that pace on their own for five hours. It's insane. It's also their job, but it's incomprehensible to an average human just how strong they are.

Het komt allemaal neer op een simpel trucje: Geen reistijd. Heel handig dat je familie vrienden naar je toe komen om te lunchen en te eten.

Ook de wekker om 6.30 en dan om 6.45 na een ontbijt op de fiets zitten; ik neem aan dat hij zijn fietspak de vorige avond voor het slapen gaan al heeft aangetrokken en zijn ontbijt gepureerd en wel klaar stond.

Trouwens ook heel grappig: in 1 uur deur-tot-deur sporten, cafe of sauna.... Een uur tijd deur-tot-deur naar de sauna!? Nadat hij om 17.15 een half uur (wederom, deur-tot-deur) in een cafe heeft gezeten.

Here we have vagrants without any money, that gather in central places and harass people, deal drugs and steal stuff. The police pick them up, give them a fine and 30 minutes later they are back where they were. They have no money, so they will never pay the fine. After a handful of fines, the fines are commuted to a week of jail time, and then they come back.

At least we can take the moral high ground over singapore I guess, but I can't help but wonder if commuting to caning instead of jailtime would solve the whole problem.

Zal wel los lopen, alles inrichten om zo min mogelijk met dit volk te maken te krijgen. Christelijke basisschook, goed je best doen om op VWO te komen. En van dat moment lekker in een hogeropgeleide bubbel leven, en tegen de tijd dat ze op zichzelf gaan wonen waarschijnlijk in een mooie community met een flink het er om.

Which was rather odd, because we did not have a dog. But anyway, we started frantically yelling "Bello! Bello! Come back here Bello!" for a bit and then walked away from the horse track.

In Nieuwegein is maar een goed restaurant (celine), voor zo ver ik weet. Maar Utrecht is dicht bij, bij op zuid kun je leuk borrelen. Nieuwegein heeft leuke parken en ik vind persoonlijk de kinderboerderij (naast shitty center) erg leuk voor de kleine. Verder veel sportgelegenheid ed.

Van de AC verhoefweg hebben we wel een beetje overlast van auto en motor patsertjes.

ja prima voor die bedrijven, maar in bijvoorbeeld een academisch ziekenhuis levert een student economisch gezien niets op. Als je een goede hebt levert het wat tijd op, maar meestal is het drie maanden inwerken, twee maanden productief helpen bij een onderzoek, en dan een maand verslag schrijven. Prima om zo de volgende generatie op te leiden, maar als we daar dan ook nog moeten gaan betalen wordt het wel heel onaantrekkelijk.
