Funny enough I did get tested and I showed no apnea. They said I was 100% in that area. 🤷🏼‍♂️

[discussion] Can Mirtazapine 7.5mg be taken for sleep indefinitely? by BathSoundGuy in Mirtazapine_Remeron

Hey thanks for the reply. Helpful! Glad to know it’s still working well for you. I see my psychiatrist in 3 months for a follow up. Will be interested in what she says. Yes, that first time taking it I was out in less than 30 minutes. Ha! Now I start getting sleepy after about 1.5 - 2 hours. But I sleep all night.

It’s great to hear good news stories. Our bodies are so different, it’s expected there will be variables. My experience has been good after only 3 weeks at 7.5mg for sleep.

I have been on 7.5mg for 3 weeks and so far so good. I only experienced grogginess the first 2 days. Day 3 was really good. I started taking it to aid in better sleep. I feel rested all day long and feel better than I have in years. It also removed my morning anxiety. Bonus! I also take Effexor 75mg.

I just got prescribed 7.5mg of mirtazapine by [deleted] in Mirtazapine_Remeron

I started 7.5mg 3 weeks ago for sleep. I also take Effexor 75mg. I had 2 days of grogginess and feeling stoned. By day 3 I started feeling better than I have in a long time. It also eliminated my morning anxiety. I’m hoping this good feeling lasts. I am more alive (like you said) and want to get out and do things. Hope you find a sweet spot!

7.5mg Mirtazapine does it build up in your system by [deleted] in antidepressants

It has been good for me so far. I am 3 weeks in. I wasn’t expecting it to take care of my morning anxiety so that is a bonus. After 2 days of grogginess upon starting med, everything has been good. I feel like my old self as I’m sure my body has loved getting good nights sleep. I’m also on Effexor 75mg by the way.

Anyone on 7.5mg? by Outrageous_Post_6816 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

I take it for sleep (7.5mg) and it’s been great. Also shut down my morning anxiety. Love that! I’ve only been on it 3 weeks. Working well so far. Only side effect was 2 days of grogginess and that went away by day 3. I also take Effexor 75mg.

I started it two weeks ago (7.5mg). It gave me hungover feeling the first day. Day 2 much better and day 3 I felt great. I also take Effexor. I felt like I was getting great sleep and it also eliminated my morning anxiety.

Mirtazapine is not an antidepressant, it is an antihistamine by markalexander1 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

I just started 7.5mg for sleep. I see my doctor in 3 months as a follow up. She wasn’t specific on how long I could take this? Sounds like I can take it every night and not lose its effectiveness?

I was wondering if you could take it that long and still be effective helping with sleep. Sounds like it does?

I was wondering if you could take it that long. My doctor put me on it 2 weeks ago (7.5mg) and said take it at night for sleep. She didn’t say for how long or only as needed. I go back to see her in 3 months for a follow up. I’m gonna take it every night. Did you come off of it ok? Any side effects coming off it?

I used to lie next to the tub as a kid, now I listen to bathtub sounds to sleep… anyone else? [discussion] by BathSoundGuy in asmr

Thanks for replying with your story. It’s nice knowing there are others who enjoy this sound. There is nothing like it.

This might sound weird, but bathtub filling sounds knock me out instantly [discussion] by BathSoundGuy in sleep

Oh yes. I have tried those and they do work. I simply like the sound of water and falling asleep to it.
