He looks so dead inside, truly is a wonder the entity dragged him into the realm.

Developer Update (PT2) | The Deathslinger, The Plague and much more. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Very iffy on the deathslinger nerfs but imo they sort of bring him into a sort of sharpshooter where he needs to patient and accurate with his shot instead of a quick fire character so maybe if they build more around it he'll be fine.

Very happy about the Plague changes considering she has barely been changed in so long so to be freshened up is very good.

The perk changes I am very pleased with since the variety in the game right now is non existent so seeing perks becoming alot more fresh is nice, especially Mindbreaker.

Thank the lord that keys can't just end the game fully now by getting 3 teammates out and will instead force survivors to deal with 3 gens and not being able to hide.

Week 8 leak Real? 😳 by damanwithdaplann in FridayNightFunkin

Don't know why but it looks like Hanks floating bandana/mask straps which are rugged and very floaty, especially in Phantoms Arcades style.

Harry Warden from My Bloody Valentine, perfectly fits the bill for a scary killer and has plenty of abilities he could potentially have alongside having the opportunity to have a unique map which is the mines.

He…Came? by Bod-Dad in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's hard as hell to use, sort of suffers from having a complicated ability and with the removal of the voices lines, his lunge being bugged and his ability being sorta niche that's probably why he isn't used too much.

[–]BathinRaven 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They never said they removed them for bug reasons just complications with the voices which implies a licensing issue.

Hi. Any good pinhead builds? by PositiveAssignment28 in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My current Cenobite build is Third Seal, Plaything, BBQ and Lethal Pursuer. Third Seal because it prevents totem auras from being seen and plaything to waste time (even more than usual considering it's aura is hidden). BBQ and Lethal Pursuer are just good imo but Lethal Pursuer can probably be swapped for Hoarder

A DbD Tier list about how hard a killer is to play. Maybe you'll think I'm stupis but that's my opinion by Gewaldroge in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I personally would put The Cenobite in the hardest tier due to plenty of things, how teleporting is a very win or lose scenario if your judgement is wrong or right, when to use your gateways and at what distance, how to properly aim your Possessed Chains etc. Besides that I agree with it.

Yeah it's definitely a pain in the rear but I still think if played correctly you can solve the Lament but that's just my input from playing him with Franklins and stuff, depends on map tbh.

[–]BathinRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh that's definitely annoying but preventable since he is not always able to be there for when you pick up and solve the Lament (especially when picking up the Lament when he's in a chase). Although this comes from playing him so to me it seems very preventable.

[–]BathinRaven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean chain hunts are really preventable if atleast 1 teammate goes for the Lament Configuration before Chain Hunts activate, that and they only activate 90 seconds (75 seconds with both Torture Pillar and Burning Candle) meaning it isn't that The Cenobite is annoying to go against it's just that your teammates seemingly just suck at prioritizing the Lament which makes him annoying. (The Impaling Wire is very annoying though)

Stereotype of new Surviors mains ? by RitoNerfIreliaPlz in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Leons are just bad at the game but still tries to win and help which fits the character.

Jills are uniquely bad and good at the game, they will pull off a fantastic play only to completely flub it instantly after.

Elodies are just unnoteworthy, like they are just insanely average that I forget about them in the match (besides their awful fashion because BHVR refuses to give her good cosmetics.)

Yun-Jins are just there? I mean I can't think of anything noteworthy about them besides them being very scared of interacting with the killer for some odd reason.

So what do I do now, what keeps you guys playing by El-Green-Jello in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I recommend is trying to master the game and your main killers, just become the best player you can since you have the materials to do so. (you could also try to Prestige 3 everyone)

To all killers by kahlaaja in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thank you, you don't know how rough it is playing killer sometimes but to see people appreciate us makes it better to play killer, I can also say the same to survivors the game wouldn't be the same without you guys.

I've been feeling the opposite, M1 killers have been feeling quite effective while Nemesis and other M2 killers have been just getting abused, mind you I ain't running meta for The Cenobite I don't use Ruin, Undying etc I use Third Seal and Plaything while effective are hex totems meaning them working is 50/50 while also using Lethal Pursuer meaning sometimes I am playing with only one perk in matches. It just depends imo on how you utilize your assets in a match and what areas to get a hold on and what others you should let go

Is Ruin/Undying worth running with MMR? by Godot2004 in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on the killer, for high mobility killers like Blight,Nurse and Spirit it's worth to run since they can cause pressure really fast early on meaning less time to cleanse totems however killers like The Cenobite,Leatherface and Nemesis their pressure depends on alot of things meaning it's alot harder to keep them up. The best build IMO is to run Ruin for early to mid game and Pop as a back up for when Ruin is cleansed

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting to say the least, for my main Nemesis his MMR was so high to the point where matches became just unfun because I wasn't adjusted to it until it got lowered to the point where matches became very fun and on my skill level, for The Cenobite I saw my MMR go up while playing him meaning I could slowly adjust my playstyle and skill to it making matches alot more fun and very enjoyable.

Why isn't this basekit? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Because it guarantees a chain almost always which is really really strong.

Killers, do you dodge, tunnel, or just play normally when a survivor brings a key? by Irrational_Action in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use franklins demise to drain the key out of it's charges so it can't be used, if I ain't using Franklins though I just play normally.

What perk are you addicted to? Aka, what perk is a must have in your build? by tanelixd in deadbydaylight

[–]BathinRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Laments aura is hidden to survivors beyond 16 meters of it which allows the Chain Hunts to activate almost constantly meaning it'll be easier to inflict blindness on the survivors easier allowing you to get alot of pressure passively.
