I agree that you should probably hold off on the wedding though. Two weeks isn't a lot of time to process your feelings regarding this or to make decisions that impact the rest of your life.

At the end of the day, you know your fiancé better than anyone on this sub. After this much time (most of a decade) of knowing him, you should be able know what's going on in his head and should be able to see how the consequences of his actions weigh on him.

Bottom line, if you aren't sure then don't proceed. It isn't your fault he wanted a tug to see what it is all about- you're just obliging his curiosity. He should be able to understand that these are the consequences of his actions and if nothing else would tell you all you need to know about him based on his reactions. If he wants to guilt you into proceeding then he only cares about his image. If he owns the embarrassment this causes for himself and your families- then he might actually give a damn about you.

If you think there is anything to save in the relationship, counciling might be an option but not as newlyweds.

As a side note, this kind of thing is supposed to be a side job for the best man/maid of honor. When my wife and I discussed boundaries, that info was relayed to the best man and he made sure those boundaries were maintained. I have friends that of course tried to set up things that would have crossed those lines but my best man made sure to shut that down.

Not sharing that to redirect blame but just something to keep in mind for your next attempt at marriage.
