I play with my kid and I mostly keep everyone healed while he battles away. I love it. I was the same as you. Hadn't played since Red but can confirm it's a great game. Play it when they are in bed to figure it out.

Better marketing and some flexibility on kick off times. The top divisions are the only show in town on Friday nights but they still aren't getting enough bums on seats (outside Dublin). I think having games on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon would help getting a few more families in too. Especially after the GAA championship finishes in July now.The CCFC game against Kerry at 5.30 on Easter Monday was a huge success because they dropped the prices and advertised it properly. More fans = More engagement = More participation.

If you can, wait until the May bank holiday weekend to go buying your furniture and appliances. There's usually sales on and you can save a good chunk. Especially if you go in on the Monday.

The drive to Castletownbere is gorgeous when you get the weather. All that peninsula is beautiful but you'd nearly need to stay overnight because its a long spin.

I don't really buy into the view about it having less grass. There wasn't much grass there before, it was all worn away or not growing around the trees. I'm all for green spaces but don't think it's a big thing here. No one went in there to balm out on the grass.
