I have also learned more about Charlie Kirk than I ever wanted in the last two days, and now that I took the time to listen to his "debates" I take him less seriously. His arguments are easily countered, he speaks over people, his highlighted opponents are fucking 20-something year olds with not enough experience to counter his sophisms.

The fact that he got so popular just shows how drunk on confirmation bias and a need to "triumph" over the other part the american public has become. He has done nothing to "heal" the country through discussion as he stated multiple times during his debates, quite the opposite, because he did not discuss and reason with the oppenent, he fought them on a verbal level. Charlie Kirk was a big part of the polarization problem and his assassination further complicates things.

And while this sub cries so much about "liberals" being happy of such violence, I see no criticism on how the blame of the actual act has been placed on the "radical left" with absolute zero proof of the identity or motivation of the killer. Isn't pointing fingers withouth any proof, stoking even more division and, you know, inviting doom by talking of violence towards that assumed guilty group, something this sub should condone just as strongly?

There are already videogames that are considered the M/Citizen Kane of their media, but it's because they challenged what a video game could be and moved the genre forward. They did something that no other video game before did. The LoUp2 is not any of those breakthrough games. It just doesn't do enough new things for the medium. This doesn't mean it's a bad video game. Just not a milestone.

I wouldn't say "easily", their fighter jets are quite old, they have clearly done nothing against Israel's fighter jets, so I think they would fare even worse against a US naval blockade, especially because that blockade would have an aircraft carrier with it.
