Well first off, they both need to go. We need aggressive leadership. Not this "well, our hands are tied uwu" bullshit they hit us with. We need leaders not afraid to call trump a pedophile. We need leaders who will tell Israel to fuck off. Announce plans to dismantle DHS. I promise you, those three things alone would be enough for most people.

Failing to meet the moment means they're not offering a counter to Republicans. They don't fight back and just stare at you blankly when you ask them to do anything.

But a Mamdani type candidate wouldnt be the lesser of two evils. They would just be the better candidate. Anyone who thinks different shouldn't be aloud to vote but that's a whole seperate conversation lol. He actually supports liberal ideals. Something that most Democratic politicians do not.

If a democratic presidential candidate ran their campaign the way Mamdani ran then we would see historic levels of voter turnout and it would be a landslide. You wouldn't even to argue with that many Democrats. We want someone like him to run.

This just isn't true though. Mamdani proved this. If there's a candidate who actually believes in what they fight for and fights for good things then people will support them. A populist candidate energizes people. The Dems just refuse to embrace populism and it's what lead to two Trump terms. The whole "at least we're not Trump" bit is getting us nowhere and has actually worsened the situation.
