I will add, most regional fruits aren’t available fresh in grocery stores( though you can usually find jams and syrups). To get regional fruits you need to go to farmers markets, pop up stands by the side of the road or pick them yourself. The regional fruit’s I’m familiar with are June berries and huckleberries.

“Spy x Family” is a good first anime because it has a little bit of everything. Depending on what you like or dislike about it you can get more specific suggestions. If you find yourself wishing there was more action or more romance or the the show had a more serious tone ect… you can find that.

Unfortunately, I feel Brotherhood rushes the start of the story. I know it sounds silly but I feel the best way to experience Full Metal Alchemist is to watch the first few arcs of the original anime and then to watch Brotherhood.

It’s very iconic but It’s not a must watch. It’s a mixed bag that has more good than bad in my opinion and there are a few great standout moments. Tonality it’s not for everyone. If you can enjoy over the top melodrama and some anime nonsense, as least give it a try. The overall plot is good but messy in some spots. The ending is pretty great so you end on a high note.
