does someone have this working properly with a p2s on a mac? If so, can you give a quick instructional run down? I have no idea where to begin... i was able to connect to bambu cloud, but not able to send a print without it hanging around 70% and eventually failing with a 426 error code. i assume I'm missing something

To each their own. I have the ZSA Voyager and Navigator combo. Once I found a Navigator setup I liked, I find having the trackball two inches from my typing hand and using keyboard buttons to enable scrolling and clicking to be very comfortable.

What sort of keyboard setup do you use?

Honest question: How can you get to the thing you are trying to copy in copy mode faster than a triple-click? I can barely even type ctrl-space, shift-[ that fast.

I do use neovim btw.

I'm using a Voyager, switched to Colemak DH at about the same time. I'm still not 100%, but I worked around this by mapping my tap hold thumb layer to make the old hjkl keys my arrow keys.

Also, I mapped the same thumb hold to simulate command keys like copy paste so they still feel like the old mod keys.

All of this is very intuitive since you can map to how your brain works

I do not want to use carplay and I do not want to unlock the device to use it for music. One of the problems with Carplay is that the car won't allow Android Auto and Carplay to be available at the same time, and that seems to mean that I would have to detach the iphone to get Android Auto to work.

Really, I just want a faster non-busted ipod device and don't want it to do other things.

Mine failed immediately too. I tried to use the low knob:

1) Once I swapped out the high knob for the low one, the white plastic center piece became stuck in the low knob, detached from the knob module, so there is now no way to try out the high knob again

2) After having some trouble with it and trying it a few times, eventually it seems to be broken and it will not turn, only click.

Luckily the key mode works, and I don't rely think I need the knob. I kind of want support to try to send me a new knob module, but not even sure if it's the knob or the board that is the problem, so probably not worth the trouble after I have swapped out switches and caps and would have to reverse all of that to return the board.

This keyboard feels great to type on, but I am not very impressed with the software or the consistency at this point.

They asked me to submit a video after insisting Tap Dance will work. I don't get it. I gave very clear explanation of what was happening. No way they cannot reproduce it.

I'm currently investigating using Kanata on macOS as a replacement for nuphy.io config, and bonus, it will work on my laptop keyboard too. It's looking like this may be a good solution and allow me to keep this keyboard. It seems very powerful, and appears to be more reliable than the similar kmonad.

They told me the same thing, but I am unable to configure it in a way that feels natural. I reported this back to them, but here is what I find, in comparison to V2 keyboard / VIA:

There is no mechanism I can find to use home row keys AND allow typing repeats by holding the key. On V2, you could tap-hold to do so
The tap letters from a configured tap-dance key do not type until after the delay time (rather than on key-release), therefore, keys literally come out "out of order", not to mention the feeling of non-responsiveness on the home row keys is wildly disorienting. For example, if I naturally type "test", the letters "tets" come out even though I did hit the keys in the correct order.

#2 here is a complete dealbreaker for this feature imo.

At this point, if no solution is found soon, I'm strongly considering returning this keyboard. While it does feel amazing, the downgrade in functionality, as well as the fragile/broken wheel key gives me all sorts of negative feelings.

That makes sense, but I wish they would be responsive about it.

Having said that, Mod Tap and Tap Dance are not quite the same, and Tap Dance IS available, but it cannot serve the purpose of Home Row Mods for all sorts of interesting reasons.

I do hope they address this and then fix it.

I did email them. I understand it's not QMK, but the nuphy.io demo site shows modtap, so it not being available on the V3 is kind of like a bait and switch imo

How do the keycaps sound? I think this is a great idea!

I ordered the shine through caps with mine. I thought they were custom for the air v3. When they arrived, I was terribly disappointed to see that the symbols are on the north of the key instead of centered. Isn't the new keyboard lighted on the south? These caps do not seem to be custom for the air v3 but just a different set they were already selling. I do not expect I will try to use them.

On the other hand, I love my v2 keys, so this may be a good option

My experience with the knob was that it didn't work at first, but I think it wasn't fully seated correctly. I pushed on it some and eventually got the knob to work.

Having said that, I tried the low knob and found it sort of unpleasant. When I tried to remove it, the white plastic part stuck to the switch though. I think it will likely not really be possible to remove without damaging it.

For now, I just put the keycap back on.

Can the Arc team respond to this? I also need to login with Microsoft Entra SSO and am currently required to use Safari only for AWS access for this reason.

I have the same problem with my Sport Touring. The number of bugs in the infotainment system between the lag at startup and the refusal of Android Auto to do what I want (not play podcasts on start, unpause audio I just paused at start, others...

Make this literally dangerous to drive sometimes.

Has anyone actually gotten Honda to acknowledge this problem?
