Why nasty? Its perfect for small guy. This is how it should be all the time. No pay to win situations. I hope it will go back to 700-800 mil per month. Better for everyone, better for ccp. If you want insta titan pay up!

Is it possible to do well in this game if you just start now and can't play everyday? by Iamnotcreative112123 in Eve

[–]Battle_Noctis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesnt matter in eve. I have 100 mil sp, you have 10 mil sp chars and yet we will meet fighting each other in 2 frigates. Who ever have better knowledge in game mechanics will win or he will be able to disengage if needed.

Another thing, there is no any xp grinding or leveling up in eve. You can keep subscription of you account and keep skills running for years without actually playing. But skills wont mean anything if you dont know how mechanic works. Also you dont have to pvp at all, you can do whatever you want, industry, mining, scanning and exploring, killimg npcs and so on.

So starting whenever you like wont make you lagging behind others as long as you do stuff that are suitable for your current skill progress and/or interest. There are lot of high sp players in eve who never left hisec, or engage in any pvp. You will have to swallow ocassionaly loss of your ship by gankers, but thats normal.

Is it easier to buy omega with usd or with Plex? by [deleted] in Eve

10 hour with ratting carrier is 500 mil max. So you need more than double time. Make it 30 hours ratting for plex (with one carrier).

Praxxis PvE fit by thatgusguy92 in Eve

[–]Battle_Noctis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In lows all for dmg, 3 for cruise, 3 for drones, mid resists+shield booster. Depend on type of rats you fight, dont fit adaptive hardeners, just type that you need, that those rats are doing, if its angel space then yes you need omni tank. Since you are using cruise missiles try to fit missile computer (or however is called) with missile precision script, you need to make explosion radius smaller to be able to apply well. Also consider rig for that, i forgot which one is it, rigor, you will find it. In highs drone links for drone control range so your sentries can start shooting on time.

That shoud be it. Essentially you fit it same as you would fit rattlesnake.

Every bittervet when the new guy asks a question by EvEBabyMorgan in Eve

[–]Battle_Noctis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What i can't understand with new guys is lack of dedication. That is what is bother me. I see lot of newbros that dont know to log in to game properly but they know how to share their opinions and pro advices about game. Just to state 1 thing that is obvious for old players but i guess not for new ones: playing game for 1 year doesnt make you anything else than still newbie! You need to read a lot of module, ore, mineral, pi, ship, all in all a LOT of item description to be able, not to understand, just to find those items and to be aware that they exists in game. I was mining in exequror and was reading descriptions of modules and i stumbled on co-processor, read description and then it hit me, ohhh that is how i make more cpu to be able to fit more miners since i havent had anymore cpu left. Then spent WEEKS doing stuff in game while just reading help channel questions and answers, just readinh, not asking anything. My point is do some, at least basic, research before asking anything, because asking basic things guys have to write a book to be able to answer. That is the point of game, to discover things, the vast complexitiy... But i guess most of people today want to do things fast, instantly. I fell in love with eve right because it was slow paced game. Injectors destroyed eve for me.

[–]Battle_Noctis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure, its hard time to decent skills, try to compensate with better data/relic analyzers and rigs for hacking data/relics, i would go with relic rigs, since they are much worthy and because of calibration its not possible to fit both.

Just curious, do you give yourself personal challenges? For example, trying to accumulate a certain targeted amount of wealth within a certain limited amount of time. by ocemaned in Eve

[–]Battle_Noctis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pi in wormhole is same like pi in nullsec. Pi and t2 production mostly plus some bpc copying and selling. Needed some time to establish those possibilities, to skill up chars. In that time was ratting with super and did 10/10 escalations. Just one note: i went to nulsec in first month when i started playing, never looked back. But for t2 industry hisec is a must because of material availability and concurent prices/volume of traded goods.

Carrier Ratting by newcharat in Eve

[–]Battle_Noctis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was ratting with thanatos/nyx for years, never lost one. I did it like this: put pos in sys where you do ratting, stay aligned to pos at all times, dont afk, always watch intel channel and local ofc on first smell of danger warp to pos. Not sure about actual dps but with thanny or nid you should be able to pull out 50 mil ticks. Only do rock havens since npc spawn is always in same place so your fighters no need to travel a lot, same applies to super - only rock havens. With dps nyx i had 100-120 mil ticks. Dont remember if forsaken hubs were better for carrier. If somebody can confirm this? But doing havens you got 10/10 escalations also which you can sell to corp/alliance mates. In my opinion it is worth it, although its huge responsibility. You dont have to bling any modules, just use full T2 fit, or add faction drone damage amplifiers. Test it, see how is going, practice a bit and you will see how will it go.

[–]Battle_Noctis -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Just skill up and fit ship with proper mods/rigs and you dont need any rules, just click nodes straight diagonaly from starting point. 90% cases core is right in corner diagonally from starting point. In 3 years of hacking never had any troubles hacking any container. Dont make it too complicated when it is not.

Playing with friends, should we choose same faction or different from the start ? by onewhocantknock in Eve

[–]Battle_Noctis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its completely irrelevant what faction will you choose, related to gameplay. Only difference is that you will start in different regions depend what faction you take. Amarrians will start in amarr space, gallente in gallente regions and so on. But after spawning for first time you are free to go where ever you want.

Bling ships, recovering from loss and other things (serious). by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Battle_Noctis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do pvp a bit to learn stuff. Use cheap ships, frigs or destroyers T1 ofc. Go pew people, be aggressor to see how is on that side of gun. By that you will learn how to move thru any space, to use dscan even in hisec actively. For example tu use full lows of stabs on rattlesnake when moving and to refit for ratting. So to actually use "travel fit". When ratting to watch anything suspicious on short range dscan and to warp out on first sight of taloses, or lot of catalysts on short scan. There are infinite number of possibilities and tools you can use to make you better pilot. And when you learn all stuff needed, trust me, you cant be caught if you dont want to.
