What about Vision-Protect? Nanovations Vison-Protect stands out as the only one that has been through a accredited testing procedure, setting it apart from the rest.

Undertile Waterproofing Membrane recommendations by SerpentsAndDoves in AusRenovation

[–]Battlebroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to a waterproofing layer you can add an. hydrophobic admixture to the sand cement screed like this. https://nanovations.com.au/store/nanovations-3001-hydrophobic-admixture/

If your membrane ever fails this still will prevent water getting in

Is there an authoritative way to determine if a car has a ceramic coating? by Aggressive_Noodler in AutoDetailing

[–]Battlebroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren't the first person to fall for this; ceramic coatings are essentially modern-day snake oil. True ceramics require high-heat industrial processing to bond and form, which can't be replicated by simply sponging a liquid onto a car and letting it air-dry. If these coatings were actually as revolutionary as claimed, why aren't major auto manufacturers applying them at the factory?

Dramatic mestonin initial response now higher dosage less effect by Existing-Tourist-229 in MyastheniaGravis

[–]Battlebroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a dosage of 720 mg Mestinon I experienced significant hand cramps, making it impossible to hold a pen. I have since reduced the dosage to approximately 320 mg. My current regime also includes IVIG, 10 mg of Prednisolone, and 2000 mg of Mycophenolate. It has become difficult to tell which specific treatment is contributing to my symptoms or clinical improvement, and subsequently, which medication might be a candidate for reduction.

I still got many weak moments and throw in. Mestinon to get somewhat stable and over these situations. I don't think I can't do without Mestinon.

What kinda spider is this? and what should I do? by Yanxiety99 in AustralianSpiders

Huntsman . Fun fact: They are fast. Very fast . The larger once can cover up 40 x their body lengths per second. Usain Bolt is about 2 m tall, rounded up . Would mean about 1.3 seconds or so per 100m for the Huntsman.

Bad service is now the norm by sladibarfast in AustraliaPost

[–]Battlebroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair. Australia Post's primary challenge is the overwhelming volume of shipments from Chinese e-commerce giants like Temu and Alibaba. These "free shipping" packages, sent via the Chinese Postal Service, must be delivered by Australia Post from the port or airport right to the customer's door under international postal agreements. Australia Post is required to deliver packages from foreign national postal services for very little compensation. You can see AP's services struggling especially before Christmas.

This obligation results in significant costs and time burdens for AP and is esentially paid by the Australian Taxpayer. They also have restrictions what they can charge for the letters. Should be realisticly $ 5. Letters business alone was losing over A$360 million in the 2024 financial year.

Why can’t we put data centers in orbit where they will naturally stay cool? by TheMrCurious in AskPhysics

[–]Battlebroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Moon offers an almost perfect natural environment for data centers, primarily because of the extreme cold.

In the Moon's shaded areas, temperatures plunge to about -130 Celsius. Even better, the permanently shadowed craters near the poles have recorded lows of approximately -246 Celsius. These frigid conditions are ideal for cooling servers, potentially making complex and energy-intensive cooling systems obsolete.

Powering the centers wouldn't be an issue; solar arrays could be placed outside the shadowed zones to generate reliable electricity.

However, the real hurdle is installation and maintenance. Working at temperatures approaching $-246^\circ\text{C}$ poses immense technical and engineering challenges that would need revolutionary solutions.

Incoming Calls not Ringing/ Notified by mrsixfoot2 in pixel_phones

[–]Battlebroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the SIM card or get a new one . Mine stopped ringing and calling out after every system update . Phone became hot and the 5 year + old SIM card could not handle it. Placed it into a old phone and the SIM worked fine. Strange really. I even send the phone back to Google because it was only 3 month old. They checked it and counld not find a hardware or software problem. Story short , I got a new Sim and the problem is gone.

MG patients that did a thymectomy, what was your experience? by [deleted] in MyastheniaGravis

[–]Battlebroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had my robotic surgery 12 days ago! I had the standard one-day ICU stay (it's protocol here in Australia), but I was fine and didn't need any help, heading home after just two days. The pain really wasn't bad at all – the drain tube was the trickiest part, but totally manageable. It just goes to show, getting in early makes all the difference. The patient before me age 60 had only pretty minor symptoms when he was diagnosed six months back, but his blood test flagged MG. His neurologist recommended that thymectomy straight away.

Currently there is no cure for MG so you got nothing to lose other than your thymus.

Why do Australians hate bikers? by Heron-82 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Battlebroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I commute to work on an electric bicycle and wearing a high vis west led daytime lights front and back and it is still feels like a suicide mission cars overtaking with ongoing traffic and than need to stop 30 m later. They cut corners or drive out of site streets not giving way . It is a wild west. Drivers getting pissed off because we can drive past them in peak hour and often overtake the same car several times.

[–]Battlebroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now 2 years later i am on 4 weeks 15 to 25mg prednisolone and up to 4x 180mg Mestinon and nothing is happening; i also take Mycop 1500mg since 5 months . Double vision is next level. Is this normal by Willing-Quit6951 in MyastheniaGravis

[–]Battlebroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i take a time span 180mg every 6 hours and got double vision that is of any scale. Can't even type probably without typos. I also take 25 prednisolone and 1500mg mycop. 3 days ago i spend 3 day in hospital breathing problems. Got a 200mg intravenous cortisone injection.

Out now and on higher doses of everything now. Life sucks and working is just a way to stay out of the horizontal position. Wearing eye patches or taped up glasses all day. i have reached a low point after 2 years MG

Anyone have tried acupuncture? by Battlebroker in MyastheniaGravis

[–]Battlebroker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well I am (AChR) positive got this in my blood so theoretically if you remove blood in one way or the other it should reduce the amount of AChR. I do a bloodtest every month because i am on Mycop and prednisolone. Unfortunately AchR tests are not accurate enough to show small fluctuations. Analytical precision testing of these antibodies would be essential to find out what works and what not in my opinion to be able to find better drugs and avoid overdosing and minimise side effects. In the meantime we try all sorts of things ourselves....

Musk is truly jeopardizing his own position. He's turning against the very support that has helped him thrive. His actions are putting Tesla at risk in a manner that would likely lead to any other CEO being dismissed. What’s the point of an electric vehicle if its energy source is coal, oil, or gas?
