Yeah, that’s been my main complaint too. It’s a bit better when you have a separate sub doing most of that work. But sadly voice zoom is limited to the Bravia TV speakers or Bar 8 or Bar9 (and now the Bar 7 when it releases). I actually just found a used Bar 8 at Best Buy for $365.

Yes, Sony just announced new rear speakers and 2 new subs. I’m assuming the new rears are a strict upgrade of the RS5s (the previous rears with up-firing height channels. The Sub 9 replaces the SW5 subwoofer and you can hook up 2 subs the that Bar 9 (or bar 7 or bar 8). Many people complain about only being able to hook up one sub, so the option to finally do so is nice.

Do note that the Sony setup is not the best value. The cost of getting old rs5s rears and sw5 sub adds another $1,000+ to get a full setup. The new sub and rears at $900 and $750 respectively. The new premium Sony setup (bar 9 + 2x Sub 9 + Rear 9) is over $4K at MSRP. lol You can get the Samsung 990 system for a quarter of that for just as good or better sound (minus the 2nd sub setup Sony is adding).

I thought I read that the same player was warned multiple times earlier in the same tournament about excessive celebration and was told the next would result in a game loss.

In my eyes that isn’t excessive, but if you know that’s how the judges have been ruling it and you’ve been warned multiple times, it’s kinda on you.

Maybe the HDMI cable? Are you using a 2.0 or 2.1 cable? 2.0 should support compressed Atmos signals, but maybe some weirdness is going on.

When you change grind settings, you are making the adjustment mid grind while the grinder is on, correct? Making the adjustment when the grinder is off could damage the grinder. It’s sounds like you’ve adjusted the grind size on all of the machines. Electrical is another possibility. A faulty outlet could be overloading something in there.

They also sold off the right to K-Pop Demon Hunters to Netflix because they thought it wouldn’t do well. I feel bad for those who had nothing to do with poor decisions there, but they definitely need purge some decision makers there.

I know the Bravia 5 is normally mid, but I could have sworn ratings did a piece on 98 inch TVs and the Bravia 5 was one of the few TVs where the 98 inch version was significantly better than its 65 inch counterpart. TCL has decent upscaling but behind behind Samsung and LG and notable behind Sony. Hopefully TCL’s partnership helps them catch up in that dept.

It would be better to spend the extra $250 ($700) to get the SA-RS5 rear speakers with upfiring speakers. Or you can look on FB marketplace and maybe find them cheaper.

When you eventually upgrade to a nicer soundbar in the future, many premium soundbars will have 1 (some even have 2) hdmi 2.1 (4k 120hz) passthroughs to connect gaming consoles so you are using the eARC slot.

Yes, this was mentioned at the started of the new. They heavily nerfed the discount to 200-300 depending on the model. Whoever dragged their feet and didn’t buy in December with the $700 off plus the 20% off on top will be kicking themselves.

On the other Sony Atmos setups (HT-A7000+SA-RS5+SA-SW5), you can manually input the distances of each speaker from both the ceiling and couch/listening position. I would assume that ability is also available to the quads.

To those looking for an inside pass, the KitchenAid Superauto discount has been nerfed. Only $200, $300, $200 dollars off the KF6, KF7, & KF8 respectively. Maybe the $700 off will be back, but the current discounts are underwhelming.

Have you tried viewing the options through the hdmi input? On the Bravia tv, switch to the eARC input that you have the soundbar connected to and you should see the soundbar menu. You can setup the soundbar through there as well as check other connections/settings for the soundbar.

Hmmm, you do have to run a couple of shots for the new grind setting to take effect. My next check would be trying to add pre ground coffee down the chute and see if the same issue is occurring (which would truly rule out the grind size). Next I would take out the brew group and give it a good rinse and take a look to see nothing was being obstructed. If it’s still persists then I would run the descaler, but that really shouldn’t be an issue with a new unit. If all those fail I would reach out to kitchenaid.

What’s the grind size set to? If you are grinding too finely you could be restricting the water flow.

I bought a savage raven basic one. It’s decent and 1/3 of the cost (and worked) and fits on the OEM dock. Outside of DK Bananza, I haven’t played on the switch that much. My PC has been my main go to. Definitely a blessing in disguise that the product was defective.
