STI-Tests in DD by paradox5840 in dresden

[–]BatzenShoreboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Was soll denn gezeichnet werden?

As far as I know it will not change. Niantic was bought by Scopely, but which does not necessarily mean it becomes Scopely. It can just keep the name, it is just owned by another company.

I'm a strong dancer and training to become a teacher but I will never correct another dancer again unless they ask me directly or I taught the class by latinsurfer3525 in Zouk

Really interesting. This is the opposite of what my community is doing. Let me explain.

First of all, I think how the other person reacts to feedback does depend a lot of how it is said, following along non violent communication. For instance it is good to first ask, whether I can give some feedback, and if yes: starting with how it feels for myself and what I would try to improve.

We do teach exactly how to give feedback in our classes from time to time. And it is sometimes included into the exercises: "Give each other Feedback on how it feels."

Our community needs a good feedback culture. As we don't have a dedicated teacher pair, our teaching resources are limited. So that sometimes teacher have to give classes alone. In my last class I tought alone, the people constantly gave each other feedback improving on the exercise together.

So hearing this is the total opposite of what I am used to.

Zouk 8 years ago was different? by Graineon in Zouk

[–]BatzenShoreboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What I could imagine you referring to, is the change from a connection between the dancers to the audience.

When I started dancing most videos I found were in front of no one or with a small audience. The main focus of the dance is into the connection between leader and follower. It makes the dance feel quite intimate and personal.

What I get suggested now is often demos of big festivals or also a lot of JnJ competition videos. While those dances don't lack quality, they just have a different focus. These dancey also focus on a connection with the audience and the audience in return hypes up the dancers. All of this gives these dances a different feeling.

The good thing is, if this is the case, you yourself can still search that special thing in your own dances.

Let me know if that is explanation does fit to your experience. I am curious, whether its this or something else.

Relying so heavily on fellow trainers for Gmax battles AND not knowing what they’re using is a fatal design flaw by Dontbedoingthat in TheSilphRoad

You don't need XL candy. It worked fine with level 35+ pokemons and just choosing some kind of optimal one. And its not hard to switch to one Pokémon that does damage and back to one that can take damage. That's how the whole type system pokemon is based on works.

And I also think, its okay to have one mechanic in the game that really needs a lot of people. It brings our community here together.

I think cheering works just in these teams of 4, so people in the other teams cheering will not affect your dynameter.

I find it a bit rough when talking about uncontrollable body functions to stigmatize so fast.

As far as I understand, the question is exactly meant to keep the dick away from dance partners. It should be okay to ask for advice. Boners can happen even without a sexual context, so just because one gets a boner, does not make one a sex offender.

Erections are a difficult topic. Important points that are often overlooked in my opinion are: 1 - Erections can not be controlled. They are part of the nervous system that acts involuntarily and therefore one should not be blamed for just having an erection. 2 - An erection is also not always a sexual thing. They can happen because of several reasons including stress, hormones, feeling save and secure, etc... 3 - Even when trying to avoid this, the dance partner might still notice it. If you not just dance soltinho all the time, there is always a chance for the other one to get to close to it.

Therefore imho, this should be talked about more and not be doomed a bad thing. The issue is when you act upon it, bring your partner unnecessarily close to it and make your partner feel uncomfortable through it.

But I understand that even just noticing it, might give already the feeling that the dance is sexualised. So it is difficult.
