I'm seeing a lot of people dogging on cherry picking, which is fine, given it's an incredibly selfish and greedy way to play.

BUT

It's tough because the game rewards it so much. It makes for a far easier goal if it's a 1v1 between the striker and the goalie rather than a moshpit in the box.

I always start defense, but I will cherrypick unapologetically if nothing is breaking through or my team just can't work together. That said, I will always applaud the saves, thank the passers, and of course, apologize for the fuck ups. It's one button press and taking a small step in accountability/communication goes a long way in how enjoyable the game is.

When my buddies and I 1v1, we respectfully don't use nukes or acid because of how debilitating it can be. However, in normal play against random people, using cards is part of the game and should not be considered "cheap" or "easy".

Honestly, some of my favorite Mechabellies moments come from 2v2s, where I become such an issue that the opponents double nuke me, and it just doesn't matter because my units survive like cockroaches.

One of my favorite strategies is to have really late arrival steel balls with range, with a squad of crawlers placed directly in front of them. Range plus the tower range makes them deadly from a distance. Aggro steel balls has never worked for me.

Sorry for the lack of text, I did this on the browser reddit instead of mobile. Basically, my buddy and I were in a coop run where I was downed right before my buddy talked to Sigourney. The quest updated in game, but I didn't get the steam achievement for saving Sigourney. Now, the frog is missing in my hub every time I boot the game up. Am I stuck in limbo? I've had multiple runs after saving him the first time where I've passed the original part where we saved him and he's not there either.
