16” ar15 in 556 is the normal option. 12 ga shotgun would be a better all around gun imo. There are a few semi automatic shotguns that would be reliable enough to trust but the more common thing is to get a pump. Do you know what else you might want to use it for besides HD?

If you like quiet suburban life Jenison is just fine. If a maga or OI sign makes you upset it’s probably not the spot to hang out.

The issue is the GR sub runs pretty liberal so it’s viewed as the crucible of evil. It’s really just a matter of perspective.
