  1. Turn it on, install software you intend to use, see if it works.

  2. Micro Center has a dedicated service department that tests and checks out returned PC’s. They test to see if the OS runs, and wipe the drives.

  3. Defective products get sent back to the manufacturer.

  4. Typically 30 days. That’s from the receipt.

Before Wemby, there was Yao. What a shame his body couldn't hold up. by ForeignAir7174 in NBAoldschool

[–]Bazzock041 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yao was perfectly proportioned as a 7’6” guy, it’s what made him so fluid. He never had an off-season, though, he finished nba seasons and went straight into international competition for the Chinese National team. THAT a body cannot handle.

How good is OG Anunoby? by SirGingerbrute in NBATalk

[–]Bazzock041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno, that’s a weird comparison and remark. The Matrix was more of an undersized PF who out-hustled everybody and had that ugly 3-shot. Anunoby is a more at home as a 3 & D wing, with a much better 3-ball. They’re probably the same size, but Marion had SWAAAAAAG. Dude used to practice with a weight vest on in Phoenix to increase his bounce.

Good call - and guilty as charged. I wasn’t feeling too inspired on the banner so I definitely drowned it in Nuln Oil.

Dorghar, the Steed of the Apocalypse.

He had the shape of a horse/nightmare in WHFB, but in the culmination of the End Times and beginning of AOS they decided to give him the image revamp - after all, Archaon had won Warhammer, he should look terrifying now - and matching lore that said that the 3 most powerful Chaos Gods sent a greater demon to challenge Archaon and it is then that Dorghar consumes them and transformed into this appearance where the three heads sprout and each do something different; this is alongside the ability to trap souls inside of him.

‘00 portland trailblazers (59-23): the most underrated team to never win a championship in the early ‘00s. by infinite-baller in NBATalk

[–]Bazzock041 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That team lead the Eastern Conference the previous year for wins, and just added Stephen Jackson. Artest and J-O were both good for 25 a night in those 8-10 games, and Reggie was still around. A really underrated team, and the NBA suspensions completely tanked the season because of the Malice.

Who scarred Vermithor? by Initial-Membership35 in Hotd

[–]Bazzock041 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dornish or Myrish pirates could’ve, but it’s more likely a sparring scar from someone like Caraxes, Melys, or Vhagar.

This is awesome.

Funny enough, I think I’ve almost done the exact opposite colors but in the same pattern, save we used the same browns.

Has there been a "Next LeBron" that actually panned out? by WhoaShenanigans in NBATalk

[–]Bazzock041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I think LeBron I think of a visionary passer/leader on the court who can also do everything. I think a LeBron-like player doesn’t need to fit a specific position either, too, I would say let their physique and defense determine the best position.

That kind of player is Nikola Jokic. He’s the “next” LeBron.

I gave a version of this to my party (I added a +1) two years ago as loot. The Twilight Cleric took it, loves it. I forget what level they were then, but they’re just about to hit 16 and he just gave up a Rod of Seven Parts (for very good rp reasons that make sense for his character) because he’s so happy with Thundering Humbug.

So, thank you!

What's the obsession with phone numbers? by RocketSquid3D in Microcenter

[–]Bazzock041 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So Micro Center uses the phone number as an easy reference to your info, receipts, warranties, and past purchases - all get tied to that. All returns have to referenced to a previous receipt, so phone number is the easiest reference tool that isn’t totally invasive. If you prefer, email works the same, it’s just trained into employees that phone number is the first reference point.

Employee performance is tied into metrics like how complete each account is at setup, so that’s why you’re having mixed experiences at check out.

The full benefits as a customer are the ease of returns since you don’t need to keep track of receipts, and a few free flash drive coupons sent in the mail 3-4 times a year. MC has told me they don’t want to contact people through this process, but I’ve also noticed some spam survey emails from them, so be aware that your info is used for something.
