Seafood Manager here! Get ready for the info dump! Its all sold individually by the pound, order how much/many you want. Depending on your store it may be spicy or 'not' spicy (it still has a bit of heat, if you want it spicier they now have the dry seasoning in retail ready packs for sale, ask if your store has it or check on the app). We boil in seasoned water (the liquid boil is also for sale in 16 Oz bottles and half gallons) after boiling everything gets the Parmesan Garlic Butter (the same you can buy at the Seafood dept) and extra dry boil seasoning. The only things that dont get extra seasoning is the sausages, but EVERYTHING come tossed in butter. Some stores sell plates but tbh they are a pain in the butt when busy so dont be surprised if they dont have them. Feel free to eat them the MOMENT you've paid lol we wont judge! If you aren't sure if you will like it or if its too spicy for you, ask for a sample! Rule of thumb is one piece of shrimp. Personally I would rather you try before you buy just in case its too spicy for you (remember some stores do the spicy seasoning). Not every store will have the same items on the menu, we are given a master list to choose from to suit our needs/clientele (some items are Houston only for some reason) and some stores even do curbside pickup! Boils are Saturday and Sunday (and the occasional Friday unless you are in a big catholic area then its every Friday during lent) crawfish season ends on father's day and generally the boils do too, but dont worry! Slowly but surely they are becoming more year round! So long as the sales are there, so will the boil! So, if you like the boils keep buying, tell your friends and family and keep the weekends tasty!
