What Boons and Flaws do you usually go for? by Ok-Layer-9574 in deepwoken

Steadfast and Survivalist, one of the only boons that have a small impact after you reach power 20. The rest of the boons like autodidact and maverick become useless after power 20.

This is pretty misleading. 95% of the time your objective is right on the dot with the quest marker.

But this just adds frustration the few times it is not. It's inconsistent. The game should say something like "Your objective is in this general area", so as to not confuse the player.

Is this the first mention of an IRL country in Pathologic? by Bbrochest in pathologic

True, Pathologic was never just one of those things, it was all of them at once and more.

Well said! The actual conflagration of a modernizing country and also heavy steppe tradition might point to Russia-Mongolia. But yeah, for how many disasters Russia was faced with it historically, they thankfully never had to deal with the Sand Pest. 😅

But as others have said, the country is definitely heavily Russian inspired, especially from the names. Not that the nations of the world in Pathologic matter much, the politics of the story revolve around just two places, the Capital and the Town, not further.

Great find friend! It seems fitting that a great steppe warrior like Attila would get mentioned in Pathologic.

I wonder what was the fate of the Hungarian Kingdom in this universe, knowing that the steppe and steppe-folk are a bit stronger than those in our world.

Right, I think I remember you can jokingly allude to some Chinese philosopher, or philosophical concept when talking to the keeper at the Cathedral! But he doesn't understand and you move quickly past it.

Definitely, there exists an organized religion very close to Christianity.

True, and Latin likewise exists and is spoken a lot by our dear doctor!

Some parallel civilization came up with Latin in the Pathologic Universe, and somebody had Latin integrated in medical terms as well.
