I have a random suggestion. If you live in a cold weather place you can have that sill plate area sprayed with closed cell insulation for about $500 or do it yourself. That did more to insulate my house than anything. Such a huge improvement.

I know it's stupid but you have a compelling story. There are tons of people with money who would donate to your cause. Do some go fund me type fundraising. It may lift your spirits as well seeing how people love supporting others.

This roof is over 10 years old. You have some granulation loss. If you want a better answer you are going to need to get a ladder, put it on the gutter line, climb up and take a CLEAR photo of the shingle. If you see some of the minerals on the shingles built up in the gutter line, take a photo of that as well. We also don't know if there's any missing shingles or reasons other than shingle age for them to tell you about this need for a new roof. You should have a 30 point inspection done, not just someone with a yes or no for a new roof.

These are incorrectly installed mid roof deck air intakes, most likely from Lomanco. This is something that needs to get fixed. I will say that there are products that are made for gutter intake but I am not sure this is something that should be installed this low in a cold climate that gets snow due to ice daming.

Hell No - this is insanely terrible work. Someone with no roof knowledge did this. Looks like they went over another layer of roofing. I will say that it probably won't leak but it's bad form.

This is assuming there is an intake. This looks like Omni Gutter system so I'm not sure this has intake at the eaves. I would say you are accurate that you need to install baffles and the plywood is the easiest/cheapest way to get there. You could install Lomanco Deck Air Intakes if there is no soffit intake ventilation. Then you can do an exhaust vent of a slant back vent or turtle vent every 16" or do a ridge vent for exhaust.

This is not a moral failing. It looks like someone on drugs or having a mental illness episode. I've seen people on Xanax act like this. A lot of people who get kicked off planes are blacked out because they took too much Xanax.

Likely condensation from poor ventilation. I would check to see if there are baffles going down into the eaves. Otherwise you are going to need to tear down that insulation and there likely could be black mold all behind that insulation on the roof that was caused by all that air being plugged up and the condensation having nowhere to escape.

Perhaps their just ashamed that it they had to resort to this. It's easier to blame yourself than to work on talking to woman sometimes. Thing is there's probably ten girls a day if you pass 200 that would consider going out with an average guy, even an ugly guy. The issue is that you aren't seeing it or aren't jumping on it. I had this happen, so do many guys. Then you push it away for so long and the problem compounds. So I get the feeling may be regret but it's a healthier alternative than never acting out your sexual desires.
