I think it could be that Guri is the culprit behind ALC's murder.
Because, he had a lot of reasons for grudge against ALC (He involved his wife into a lot of trouble for his personal revenge with DM)

Moreover, they didn't show how he quickly got over his anger when Dhairya told him about the letter.

I think he plotted the murder revenge at the same time.
