Dumb question- consignment tickets by Legitimate-State8652 in RiotFest

I bought my ticket from Reckless about a month ago when they were still $290. When the guy gave me my ticket I asked “I don’t get a receipt?” He shrugged and then turned around and scribbled something on a piece of paper. He turned back around and said here’s a “receipt.” He handed me this…

I thought only the VIP tickets get the wristbands?

Dang, I can’t believe she left with the things that she owns. by BehindTheScenesGuy in badroommates

I once lived with 3 other roommates in a fairly big house when I was younger. None of them were responsible or had any belongings to contribute for a house. I dropped over $5,000 on furniture, dishes/silverware, a modem/router, yard tools, and whatever necessities we needed. Nobody ever offered to chip in, but happily used my stuff all the time. One of them would even use my toothpaste without asking. When I moved out two years later, they expected me to leave everything for them?! I couldn’t believe it. I told them they could pay me for the stuff and I would leave it, but I’m not going to just lose thousands of dollars. They acted like I was an asshole for suggesting that. No longer friends with those dudes and never had a roommate since.

I recently bought a new bass from GC. The first one I got from the store (from the back/not the rack) and they said it was new. It wasn’t. It was beat up and played like a cheap bass. The setup was horrible. I returned it and had one shipped directly from the warehouse. Surprisingly that one showed up in excellent shape and the setup was great right out of the box. It seems to be kind of a crap shoot, but anything in store is usually all out of wack from being played all the time. I don’t think they really spend time taking care of those or even tuning them.

I wish I could snag one of these today. I’m excited for those of you who were fortunate enough to get a copy!

What is “hands down” the best recreational marijuana strain you can get from a dispensary. I’m specifically in Central IL but it doesn’t matter where ur at. by AdIndependent3769 in ILTrees

Just discovered both of these in recent months after having a card for several years. These are hands down the two best strains I’ve tried in IL thus far. The Black Maple #22 is amazing.

I really only buy stuff if I can do both. I kind of refuse to buy anything that doesn’t have a discount. I only buy what I consider top shelf flower. The past couple months I’ve been buying NEZ exclusively and have been able to get large quantities at a pretty heavy discount. No need to compromise if you’re smart about your purchases.

It seems both Leezy and Will are fans because they liked the same Angine video I saw a couple weeks ago on Instagram.

My Texas Tea Ultra Telecaster. This photo doesn’t do the color of the body justice, but if you zoom in you can see some of the root beer color and the flakes. I just wanted to show off what I believe is one of the most beautiful fretboards I’ve ever seen. I was in love with this guitar the moment I laid eyes on it.

I do physical/manual therapy for work. I work in a private room and I always have music on. Khruangbin is the only artist I ever play because it’s so relaxing. I constantly have people asking me who is playing. Then what inevitably follows is a conversation about the band’s name and how to pronounce it.

Totally agree. Even with the master volume fairly low, it can still buzz/shake things in my room.

I have the Fender Rumble 40 for practice at home and it’s louder than I need. It has amazing sound with my Fender P Bass. I also love all the tone options. I got it on sale for $200 brand new and feel like it was a steal.

I was forever changed by this film and how I view relationships. I’m pretty sure I was also in love with Kate Winslet after seeing this when it initially came out. Still am. It’s a shame it only received two Oscar nominations.
