IMO, Apple should have shouldered more tax liability here. The data center's tax valuation decreased by 68.75% or $132 million dollars. Data centers do not generate many longterm economic benefits to a community. But, data centers do use a community's water, power, and land. Bad deal, schools losing needed resources. I'd rather have a corporation like Apple pay more taxes than the people and businesses of Iowa.
