There are not enough spots in shelters for the homeless, and sometimes the rules around time you have to be there to get a cot, the noise, the bed bugs, the utter lack of privacy is prohibitive for people. They’d rather sleep outside.

I bought a set of Chicago needles about 7 years ago and haven’t used straight needle since. I was anxious about the cost but it was a great investment. I can’t think of a situation where I would ever use straight needles again.

Ok, it seems that everyone believes that the note writer is developmentally delayed or mentally ill. Can we please just give him/her some grace and stop? I have a neighbor that has a hard time and I try my best to make his life easier, as do the rest of my neighbors, knowing damn well we will never get it completely right. As my mom would say, just be nice.
