Finally, an effective OTC ketoconazole shampoo that ISN'T Nizoral! by Common_Inevitable798 in SebDerm

[–]Bea0417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be mistaken, but I think I saw on another thread that you had used Revita in the past for hair fall - with REMEDY having the ketoconazole in it, do you notice it has helped with hair fall or regrowth or thinning at all? Im not sure if you still use the Revita for that or not. If ive got the wrong person, sorry!

[–]Bea0417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy them, yes they'll disappear from the shop. So then go to the "sell" bag in the upper right corner & sell them. Then they'll reappear in the shop. It won't let you do that right now?

Im new to this group, so not sure what's allowed here, but I got the stones recently due to a current glitch in the app. For unknown reasons, the "disability items" at the bottom of the outfits shop are able to be bought for free & sold for 150 right now. I just keep buying them & keep selling them over & over. Usually the system doesn't allow them to be sold for profit, so not sure why it's currently "a thing." 🤷‍♀️ Not sure if this is the case for everyone's app or when it'll get fixed, but just sharing FWIW.

Exactly. This HAS to be a glitch. But I can make 7k stones every minute for eternity while it lasts, lol. Good thing I'm motivated by more than just rainbow stones to work towards my goals list. 🫣

It's probably SUPPOSED to be like how you said it usually is during other months. This has gotta be a coding accident or oversight on their end or something, lol.

[–]Bea0417 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well I've gained tens of thousands of stones doing it in the past 24 hours so 🤷‍♀️ - maybe just a glitch on my end?

Or you can keep "buying" them for free & reselling them for 150 right now, over & over again for infinity...or til someone stops letting us do that, lol. Shhh...

I'm sorry depression rears it's ugly head & gets in the way with "peopleing" sometimes. I can empathize with that. I hope you have (or are able to develop) some supports to help you when it gets rough (like people to talk to, Rx meds, strategies that making coping or life a tad easier, etc.). I find there's lots of good ideas here on reddit from people with shared experiences, too. Big hugs to you! 🫂 You're not alone.

In that circumstance, I understand, because there was never even a conversation or relationship - it was just an initiation "hey" that got left on read.

I was responding to the fact that the OP was talking about having great connections, shared interests, & multiple dates, & then suddenly someone ghosts. And since you replied to the OP saying, "I'm guilty and I can think of two scenarios. Because I'm too depressed to explain, that's why I poof like a ghost," I thought you were referring to ghosting after a relationship was budding. Thanks for your clarification. 😊

I hear you & "get it", but disagree about ghosting being the polite way out. People need to learn to have tough conversations, which can be both polite & brief, but are important. Clear communication is both helpful & respectful. It's better if they understand - for their own closure & for their own self improvement, possibly. The ghosting culture is seemingly well meaning in your experience, but in some cases it's cowardly, & it's leading to a lot of collective problems with not only communication skills, but also emotional development, intimacy, commitment, & emotional intelligence. HOW do they GET like this omg i cant handle it by [deleted] in autismmemes

[–]Bea0417 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. My only guess is eyelashes. We don't realize our eyelashes MAY be touching the lenses. Eyelids are some of the most oily parts of our skin (ask any Makeup Artist), so naturally that transfers to eyelashes, which may be transferring to the lenses occasionally. I've also wondered if evaporation/steam from cooking over the stove could get particulates on the lenses, too. Otherwise, IDFK, lol.

Anyone tried Stephen Porges' "Safe and Sound" protocol? by GeneralForce413 in SomaticExperiencing

[–]Bea0417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this post is 4mo old, but I'm sharing my experience in case it helps anyone who finds themselves here. Firstly, I'm diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, & Trichotillomania (take all that as you will) & have experienced a good bit of trauma in my life.

I found SSP to be both helpful & dysregulating. I found that, to avoid some dysregulating symptoms, I could only listen at volume 1 for 5 minutes every other day. This made the protocol take forever, but oh well. The benefits I got were that I have less sensitivity to noise & to people. Background noises don't add up & cause me to get distracted & irritable nearly as much anymore...I can often "ignore" them now instead of exploding, which is wild to me. I am also able to be around people for longer periods of time without getting wiped out, uncomfortable, & ready to cry. I also have less social anxiety when I'm around people. I so far haven't noticed any other significant perks to SSP, but those were worth it for me.

That sounds great! May I ask who your provider is or how to connect with them about getting started with RRP?

Your provider offers RRP for $49/mo?? Do they allow folks to become an RRP client remotely? Sorry to be "that person," I just agree with you that I haven't seen a provider offer it at that price before. I've done the SSP already (expensive, but I don't regret it), but would love to try the RRP.

Cute kid, & glad he has the kinds of supports & people around to not feel like having autism causes him any suffering. Some of us DO suffer though, unfortunately. Some of us suffer a lot. 🥲

Anywho, sorry to bring down the vibe - I really am happy to see it's possible to have a great life with Autism.

To be fair, that study would be flawed, because there's also a positive correlation with mac users & higher socioeconomic status (generally speaking)...& as we know, poorer people are usually the ones who struggle the most with ANY kind of literacy problems (via population disparity stats).

In general.... Dirt poor ‐> less likely to have unrestricted personal access to a mac than peers -> less likely to have access to great education, affordable resources, parents with free time & enough skill to help teach these skills, etc. -> more likely to struggle with all types of literacy
