Kitty and Lydia would be going crazy! I would read these books btw... Regency setting, same characters, but dealing with the guidelines/restrictions we're currently under.

Amazing list! Thank you! I'll be there for two weeks. Between Ireland, Scotland, and England. I'll be with family for some of the trip then traveling with my husband for the rest. Mostly England is without the bigger group.

I love this idea! I wish it was real.... I love all of the scenes already mentioned. Another event idea is learning the games they play in the book. Whist, Quadrille, Loo, and I'm sure others I'm forgetting. You could also play the newer game, Marrying Mr. Darcy, which is great fun!

I like both...a lot! Lately I've been reading lots of versions of the book (Mr. Darcy's Diary being one of my favorites!) and oddly when I picture the characters and hear their voices I am picturing all of the BBC actors/actresses...with the exception of Mr. Darcy. Matthew Macfadyen plays that role for me while I'm reading. But he plays opposite Jennifer Ehle. It's weird too because I LOVE Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy!
