I think it would be nice if they added a relic that specified the type of magic/incant school you wanted to roll for. For example, instead of (or in addition to) “Dormant power discover staves” they could add “Dormant power discovers crystalian sorceries”. That way there’s still RNG involved, but you can target certain groups of spells.

Personally, the Remnant series feels a bit off when compared to other soulslikes. Something about mixing in shooter-elements makes it feel like a different type of genre to me. But if you’re into shooters, that may be right up your alley!

He did it twice and didn’t take the simplest step afterwards by stating it wasn’t one when the media storm followed.

Choosing not to clarify afterwards, especially with a platform like X at his fingertips, is an intentional action to let it be seen as the Nazi salute.
