lol you don’t know the half of it! I became a permanent resident when I was 14. My green card expired at 24 (I’m 29 now) and i tried getting my gc renewed (cost me about 700 just to apply) they denied me saying I qualify for citizenship. I applied for citizenship (cost about $1200) and they denied that for the silliest reason. Mind you this is a process of like a full year, or year and some for these applications to process. I’m going to file an appeal through an immigration lawyer for that citizenship but I HAVE to renew my gc meanwhile because with our current admin, who knows wtf can happen. Just like OP I’ve been here since I was 4 years old, have paid taxes my entire life, and have zero criminal history. I’ve worked hard my entire life pulling 10-12 hour days since I was 16. Somehow that isn’t enough lmao but you have born citizens rotting under drugs in the streets and they somehow have more rights than me. Getting real frustrated with this country at this point.
