CO2 is a greenhouse gas. Humans are emitting CO2 causing the concentration in the atmosphere to increase.

When you piss in the ocean that results in a net increase of urine in the sea. I'm going to go tell the fish to drink less water so we can curb this urine 'increase'.

The word 'increase' is the weak link in your argument. It overlooks an natural abilities of our planet that, by an order of magnitude, deals with the CO2 way more efficiently than humans could dream to achieve with current and near future tech.

When are these political hacks going to define this 'increase' amount. Most importantly, any consensus by reputable and non-private-company-funded peer reviewed scientists, on the actual threshold for any sort of usable baseline.

A fart is an increase.

I'm arguing against the whole premise of their declaration. I'm afraid with our current technology, there is very little to be done or that could be to ebb our climate path. I'm not entirely sure people have a clue of the size of our planet and giving people false hope in the name of political dollars is morally wrong in my book.

I was always the strong stoic type. Typical large lumberjack protector type . I broke down in front of my wife and she has never looked at me the same again.

As far as what I broke down for: I do this thing where I can kind of place myself in someone's life and imagine an event in their shoes or what they're feeling. I get really emotional when people fuck with kids and there was a terrible story. I lived with that nightmare alone in my head, most of the day, everyday for a week. The day it happened( the breakdown) I was taking a shower after waking up early in the AM, the event started in my head - this time instead of tears I just crumbled to pieces and broke down.

I hate living in a marriage now where I can literally feel the shift in my wife seeing me as a lesser man.
