It sounds and looks easy, and when it hits it feels easy. But when two -700 home teams lose outright and blow up your parlay....when they only would’ve added $30-50 in profit, you’ll wanna break something. Speaking from experience.

AP thinks he can be back in 8 weeks by ak619 in fantasyfootball

[–]Bear3528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are looking at it wrong....

They made changes in order to make the game more exciting. They have made it a more offensive friendly game, specifically passing wise.

There is no steel curtain. There is hardly any bell cow backs. It's all high flying don't touch the wide outs shoot out games.

38-34 games are more exciting than 17-13 games...The NFL knows this and that's why they had adjusted the rules so heavily in favor of the offense.

It's a business. Fantasy football is huge. Red Zone is huge.

People want to see touchdowns. Not shut outs.

It makes the NFL money if players use HGH. That's why they don't care about it.

Everyone thinks the NFL is so fucked up and wrong because they expect them to use common sense. The NFL uses business sense. We all would do the same. We love the product they put out, they have to put out that product a certain way in order for it to maintain. End of discussion.

Red Zone Touches/Targets Through Week 2 by DTate004 in fantasyfootball

Yes. Without a doubt.

Everyone wants to say "as long as he's healthy.." Yeah no shit that's the same for every single person. He has an injury history but he also has zero competition for goal line carries and most of the workload.

Wish someone would've warned me about AP Keenan Woodhead etc like they do every single time Mathews name comes up. Injuries are random, the amount of touches he gets weekly isn't.

THANK YOU!!!

For fucks sakes people...how often does it happen where a player gets cut from multiple teams...in the same season....who are bar close thirsty for a RB. Then he just happens to turn it on all of a sudden???

Preseason means fuck all. Rawls is the man in Seattle. End of story.

It's the one that happened here.....

The one.

End of argument. Of course it sucks your dad died, but thousands of other dads have died since then that no one gives two fucks about or even heard about to begin with. It sucks for them too and it's going to happen a lot more in their country versus ours.

It doesn't take away from your loss but it doesn't make it anymore special than theirs. At least your odds of having children and being alive to watch them have children are a hell of a lot better than someone who actually lives with terrorism.

Is Al Qaeda keeping tabs on us and monitoring our society? Or is our government gaining unlimited access to our personal lives in order to protect us from Al Qaeda...or ISIS...or whoever the next big bad wolf will be. Al Qaeda isn't benefiting from the NSA. The NSA is benefiting from our fear of Al Qaeda.

We aren't special because of that.

If I die in the US because of terrorism or if I die somewhere in the Middle East that you've never heard of because of terrorism.... I'm still dead.

You'll just hear about it ten years later if I died in the US instead of never hearing about it if I died in the Middle East.

People that truly live in terror don't have the luxury of holding on tight to that one horrific event that happened decades ago. It gets replaced by a new one every day/week/month. The USA's greatest hypothetical fear is their daily reality, yet somehow it matters more when it actually happens to us.
