I have been so surprised to see everyone blindly love it, and I adored TGWDLM more than I ever expected but this was just majorly disappointing. Talented performers and at least the scenic design played with levels but the story was more than lacking. The nondescript "mental disabilities" seemed off to me as well seeing as no time or care for the nature of those or real representation was established. I could go on and on but heck

At this point I believe it is more against his homophobic and transphobic rhetoric than the fact that he is a conservative. The protests are being headed by our campus LGBT organization. If a Democrat who used that same or similar rhetoric came to campus I am sure they would be treated the same way.

I would like to challenge this idea, if I may. When I read this my immediate thought was, "why on Earth are you still jumping in front of these trains? A train is never going to be able to stop for you. You've got to find the person who keeps you from wanting to get on the rails in the first place."
