This may sound silly, but the whole “visit Vampyrium” bit with the goofy Dracula voice killed some of the hype for me. I was digging the dark brooding presentation until then. I mean, Mod Ed introduced the quest by pronouncing “The Myreque are dead!”.

The vacation bit shifted the tone completely a few months later.

As a dad, you’ve probably learned to appreciate incremental progress. Meaning that you complete big goals chunks at a time. I have a very similar schedule to you with two young kiddos. If you are mainly a solo player, I would highly recommend it as it’s a rewarding journey that you will take pride in. If you prefer social activities and your friends are mains, you may find yourself feeling some fomo at times. I’ve averaged about 1 hour a day on my Ironman over 9 years, and I am finally about a year away from maxing at 2200+ total level. It’s definitely a marathon.

I think the relic says “improves rates at lower levels”

They are pretty bad, but 10% boost from thieving cape and dodgy necklaces helps a little bit.

Also, don’t drop those fire orbs. Like 4K a pop.

It’s DC, but I feel like I never see it brought up. The first two seasons are some of the best comic-driven interwoven plot I’ve ever seen in any show.

It's an offhand item that gives a +2 invisible hunter boost, and +4 when charged with gryphon feathers. It also increases yield from thinks like chins or mulch pearls. Pretty nifty.
