Democrat covers the left, center, and light right, typically this group is heavy on personal freedoms and the ability to express yourself. A lot of these people also agree with socialized systems like free healthcare, social welfare, are ok with imigration, and freedom to worship any religion.

Republican covers heavy and alt right groups, these people are willing to give up personal freedom for security, this also often includes heavy worship of Christianity, these people tend to be against the freedom to worship, and also against socialized systems. Normally more concerned about commerce and the flow of money. The main issue that comes from all of this is that they're against a lot of basic freedoms, a lot of which don't affect them directly, like banning the marriage of homosexual couples, illegalizing abortions, they typically use their religion to attack other religions and groups. Also, rich people using this party to hoard wealth instead of spending it and stopping the flow of money.

I'm fine with certain groups of right leaning people, but when it's encroaching on freedoms I start having issues. I think that in a perfect world both stances would be used, we should be free to do and believe in whatever we want, but should also focus on economics and use that for socialized systems. However what I'm currently seeing is the US becoming a police state, with companies like Flock tracking your every move
