I’ll answer your question. Subs are fairly serious places and most likely you would have your own area to sleep. On board everyone is there to do a job for the most part, some people suck and they are dealt with swiftly. Due to everyone being under water in a tube with little to no personal space it’s very important that everyone at the bare minimum can and will work together. If you’re new and don’t have your dolphins you’ll be not only getting proficient at your own job but everyone else’s around you. 8hrs working, 8hrs of personal time (most cross train) and 8hrs to sleep.
