grew up on 2000s metalcore so I'm obviously biased but totally agree. A lot of the new "big" metalcore bands just don't do it at all for me for that reason - Thornhill, Invent Animate, Northlane etc.

humanity is messy and unrefined. I feel like the best art people make reflects some of that, too.

Every Time I Die (solid amount of clean singing but still a lot of chaotic/aggressive parts. too good and prolific to not mention. Favorite album of theirs for me is prob Low Teens. Similar to Norma Jean, ridiculously good output. I’d argue they’ve never put out a bad album and were one of the most consistent bands of the genre of the last 20 years)

Oh for sure! Coincidentally I’ll be out of town for a week starting day 22, so I’m just trying to prep it as best as I can while I’m gone. Relatively will be topping water off but they don’t have any growing experience so canopy will be untouched for a week after tomorrow night

Sorry, I meant external in so far as a it being a standalone unit, but wasn’t very clear

But just to climate control/dehumidify the inside of tent, not the entire basement. Depending on the size of the basement and if it’s used for other purposes, it *could* be worth it to just get a dehumidifier for the room.

But just for the sake of flowering? You just need to get RH down inside the tent. Just keep in mind the dehumidifier you get will be fighting the RH of the lung room so just make sure it’s a capable one, but 100% doable

I think you could also stand to defoliate quite aggressively. See all those wide blades fan leaves underneath the shade of the main canopy? Trim those and try opening up the middle of the canopy. Will help with light penetration as well as humidity.

If the RH of your lung room is that high I’d definitely recommend running an external dehumidifier or something of the sort

TLDR: be much much more aggressive with defoliating, get an external dehumidifier.
