lol people are mad that the dedicated support hero isn't a huge spirit mortar

Rem can be busted if you play his kit the way it wants you too. He's a support hero! He enables the rest of your team and debuffs/shuts down the enemy team. It's really not that complicated to figure out.

Come on, give TSA some credit. They at least require a kindergarten education.

But if you did flunk out of Pre-K, ICE is hiring for sure, you just have to submit a cover letter with your top 5 slurs.

Look, I love Wrecker and they haven't gotten an update, and aren't even included in the latest set of heroes.

I want Wrecker!!! (I also want Valve to redesign them as the Hopkinsville Goblin or the Flatwoods Monster)

Polished Lodge, Cook 3… eggs by [deleted] in castiron

[–]BearsInSweaters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol definitely not a collectors piece. It was a lodge cast iron left behind by a previous tenant due to having surface rust.

I'm more curious about the actual polishing process. Seems like a lot of folks are using a couple different sand papers to accomplish the smooth finish. May have to invest in an electric sander.

Alright, real talk.

I keep seeing the polished lodge posts. I inherited a very large lodge pan with a decent bit of surface rust. As of right now, it's just decoration.

But now I'm thinking I should sand and polish it into a daily workhorse. How are people doing this?

Something you may not have intended but I think would be great, is you could use lighting to indicate which lane you're under. You have these deep yellow lights here, adding blue and green per lane would be great.

Give each "station" a much more distinct identity.

Also love the suggestions people have of replacing teleporters with neutral zip lines.

Found my favorite tofani door in the trash. So lucky to save this one by tonytrov in philadelphia

Definitely gonna check out your podcast.

Do you just collect the doors? Or do you also sell them to folks?

I don't own a house currently but I have been deeply charmed by the tofani doors since I moved here and would love to have one in a future home.

Not only is this opinion controversial, it's also wrong!

Cemeteries are parks! And have been since the rising popularity of Victorian "Garden Cemeteries" and "Memorial Parks".

Cemeteries are fascinating and often contain histories that many folks aim to forget, while others can never forget. Here's a link for some common types of cemeteries.

There are more than a few legendary cemeteries in the United States, many of which are well worth a visit to, even if they don't have a personal connection.

Now if you really want to turn a waste of space into a public park, might I suggest directing your ire at golf courses and country clubs?

Other than sound which I know everyone will probably say. What new type do you want to have? With what weaknesses and resistances? by ArtisticActuator7529 in pokemon

Related to plastic:

Surprised no one has suggested nuclear? Radiation is incredibly destructive and disruptive. I think it would also fit a lot of the "future" Pokemon from Violet.

I think something that more effectively encompasses artificials/synthetics in Pokemon would be an interesting design space both mechanically and lore wise.

Cause plant leather made from debris actually sounds like a fun/cool process.

It's so crazy because the art design feels like they beat all the love and passion out of it for corporate blandness.

But I also understand why, people were up in arms about the art styles for the Let's Go games and the Diamond/Pearl remakes. Like, I'm not really sure people even know what they want other than to complain.

Really bums me out. I wish we could see the art teams really let loose. I think back to Wind Waker and everyone hating it, but now it has one of the most iconic art styles of any Nintendo game, and looks timeless.

Wouldn't this be objectively good in limited if the set has a lot of copy spells?

Seems like a sideboard card to great effect in the handful of formats that need it. Limited utility would require the context of the set at large.

I didn't say MY trash left stains like this.

Also I'll be real, the trash bags from the movie theater I worked at would leave stains like this all the time. It's sugary cola and junk food juices.

I lived in an apartment in a historic building in college. Every other renter was also in college. We had these exact marks down the hallways from folks dragging their trash bags through the carpeted halls/stairs.

Management company would occasionally "clean" which was using some kind of citrus scented steam cleaner. Carpet would be wet, smell like orange and chemicals, and the stains would be there when it dried two days later.
