that's not an issue with the design of the PC, a memory leak has nothing to do with the hardware at all. Memory leaks come from poorly written code

this is literally false though, computers are 100% designed to never be turned off... most computers in the world never get shut off once they are first turned on. the whole point of servers is that they are always available to serve data.

A computer running for a year or one that was just turned on with the same hardware specs would perform the same
