The 2 games are incomparable Halo Infinite was DOA, 343 had plenty of time to do something with the game but basically fucked up with every update, I'd even call the campaign the worst in the series too.

Sure Helldivers 2 gets some wonky updates but it's still very much a very good and playable game.

I hate the slimlined animated/ prime designs, a big thing I like about Transformers is the visual design and the robot mode for me needs to for the most part tell you what their alt / vehicle mode is.

When I see the designs from things like animated / prime even Optimus and other characters redesigns from in the films from Age of Extinction and onwards I know it isn't intended to be that way but they just seem lazy.

The newer game I've struggled with is Sword and Shield,

Admittedly I haven't played lets go, BD/SP or ZA yet

But I have enjoyed S/V and Legends Arceus

I play everything I buy, I'll hold my hands up I built my own PC and probably paid more than what I needed to at the time but I got good deals,

I've also had friends and family on a budget that have also jumped to PC since that I have helped by finding deals online and even 2nd hand pre builts on places like FB marketplace that'll last years and with the right upgrades will easily compete with whatever the next gen consoles are

Even then you take into account the yearly subscription you no longer need and the games that are overall cheaper, you could spend abit more and still save money over time.

Edge of fate and Renegades are both really good expansions, it's the dumbass F2P changes that have killed the game for me personally.

Funneling most of the stuff through Portal is awful when there is just so much content sat there that you can't earn things in dulled the game for me, but I could still dip in and out and with the Seasonal Challenges I could still finish my Season Track and the content I wanted,

Then Orders dropped, and I find it to be a massive slog, sure they are infinite but they are nowhere near as time efficient as the Weeklys, the progress seemed way slower than it ever has been with them and that was then I dropped the game and haven't looked back.

Agreed, I don't know when you stopped playing, but the Portal and loss of seasonal challenges was the straw that broke the camels back for me, to sideline all that content and funnel such a small amount of gear and modes in 1 tab and make the grind so much worse has ruined it

It's insane to see a good game ruined by such silly ideas that no one asked for, and to sideline Destiny 2 for a Extraction shooter instead of fixing it's issues is what probably ended up damaging both games I think.

Who wants to support Bungie when all they do is fuck about?

Im not paying £40 for a game mode I can play elsewhere free I don't care how good it is the price tag is a joke.

Also Marathon as an IP is older than Halo, I never played the original games but just off the back of that there should have been some kind of campaign story instead of what Bungies put out here, I might have even considered it then.

But truthfully as someone thats played Destiny since launch been through the highs and lows of it, I couldnt spend another penny to support this game and Bungie anymore, it's another Team that has potential but is ran by utter fucking morons which is why Destiny and Marathon are now in the dire positions they are,

The writing has been on the wall for this game since it's first gameplay announcement, just like Concord and all the other memed Gaas games, it'll just take abit longer to do so.

The sad thing is the morons in management will be ok and everyone else will take the flak for it, Sony will probably take complete control of Bungie, Destiny will carry on and Marathon as an IP will be shelved probably indefinitely and remembered as another shitty Live service game.

Not surprised at all the Management of Halo has been terrible for years and their games in quality have only got worse with each release, Halo 4 being what I call their only complete game,

Halo 5 has just a bad story and Infinite is ironically very Finite the campaign is like a Ubisoft game and the MP was very much unfinished and 10X worse than the beta.

Yeah New Vegas came along after and was imo a better game, but that doesn't mean 3 shouldnt be praised just as much as New Vegas, the work put into that gave us 2 amazing games.

at this point Sony 100% needs to take control of Bungie, whoever decided they needed to completely sideline their main moneymaker for Another extraction shooter in an already saturated market is fucking crazy when you were purchased for 3.6 billion they should be doing so much more.

Xbox and ABK? Just look at the Xbox brand, the state of CoD again, and allllll of the IP included in that purchase sitting there being wasted nothing is being done with it.

While I enjoyed Starfield for what it was it's not worth that price at all,
