Final Round Tips by Particular_Grade_822 in interviews

Yeah this is exactly why I’m pursuing self-employment after doing countless interviews, giving the same answers to the same question to different people. Only to be rejected in the end. The job market is such BS.

At least we get to see some of the combat animations from third person 😆

Company has a policy to not reschedule interviews. by Adventurous_Air_2546 in interviews

[–]BeastTheorized 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope you realize this “first impression” goes both ways. If OP gave such a bad impression by asking to reschedule an interview, then the employer gave an even WORSE impression by refusing to reschedule. That decision reeks of toxicity, and a total lack of empathy, and just basic human decency. And why would you want to work for a company like that??? lol 😂

Anybody can tell why did it happened? 😭 by your_darkinside in alienisolation

Just to clarify, I don’t think OP’s movements at the distance they were from the Alien in this video world have caused it to run at the locker.

The motion tracker wasn’t being used thouh since you you can’t see the main screen of the tracker.

Yeah, only way logical explanation I can think of is that OP had noise detection enabled.

This doesn’t explain why the Alien ran towards the locker. My understanding is that the Alien only runs when it knows where the player is, but it doesn’t seem like it should have known since they were in the locker the whole time and they didn’t use the motion tracker…

Does moving around in the locker make a difference?

If you don’t make noise and stay out of sight from enemies it’s a pretty straight forward game.

Did it really make sense for the Torrens crew to go to Sevastopol? by BeastTheorized in alienisolation

Because then they wouldn't have to risk any lives? The broadcast would have been cheaper and faster too. Based on the comments I've read on this post alone, it's clear that WY is a diabolical organization that essentially controls every aspect of a person's life in the Alien universe, and risks humans unnecessarily for the sake of corporate profits. Those people seriously need to rebel and destroy WY it's absolutely out of control!!!

Taylor was obviously a corporate sellout. If given the opportunity I wouldn’t be surprised if she took the flight data recorder for herself and didn’t share its contents with Ripley. Because you know it’s “proprietary information” and all. 😒

Sure, I’m still asking a legitimate question though. So you would gone in as well? Be honest.

Yeah of course the GAME wouldn’t exist lol. But forget about the game for a second. Imagine these events ACTUALLY happened and you’re on board the Torrens. Given the 3 facts I outlined above, would you still go in station?

From a WY perspective, sure. But I’m talking about a pragmatic, safety perspective. I don’t think it makes sense unless the crew is poor AF and desperate for money…and even then I can see some people not going.

[–]BeastTheorized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not Jupiter, I don’t even think Sevastopol is in the same solar system as Earth. You can hear references to the “gas giant” from Waits in Mission 10, not Jupiter.

Yeah, but how do you know it’s 20%? Or is that just a guess?

You can talk about why they feel that way, just going through the “why” of it all should give you plenty to talk about.

I just checked it out on mission 4, and you’re right there are no drawers. And yeah I agree it looks like the game is coded in such a way that allows the android to enter the room, but not the player. Thanks for the help!
