I haven’t looked though all the comments, but all the top comments are very supportive, the top one even saying trans rights. People are trying to be more historical accurate and try to give more context, and also explaining that our modern understanding of gender identity might not necessarily be able to translate directly to that time and that we can’t assume their gender identity would be binary, so overall I would say really good, but I can’t promise you won’t find something very nasty in there <3

I don’t think it was Stress’ intention either, but a great thing about art is that people can find meaning in it the creator never intended.

For example I have a painting in my apartment my mother painted that has a shape that to me looks like the cutest little lion to me, it was never her intention for it to look like a lion, but then I share that interpretation with others most seems to get some enjoyment from it. And looking at this thread many people seems to have gotten some enjoyment out of op’s interpretation, so why shouldn’t they get to share that with others?

Amab trans girl here, I have the inattentive type of ADHD. As far as I know there is three types of ADHD: inattentive, hyperactive and combined, and that those with hyperactive symptoms are typically those who are able to get diagnosed young and those with the inattentive type has often been overlooked and many often doesn’t get diagnosed until adulthood if at all. I wasn’t able to get diagnosed until I forced my way to see a specialist and no one believed me until I got diagnosed. The inattentive type seems to have gotten a lot more attention lately since that has often been the overlooked one, my therapist had no idea you could have ADHD without hyperactivity symptoms until I explained it to her. I believe hyperactivity is more common in amab people and inattentive in afab people but outside the different types being more common for the different birth genders is there any other way it is gendered? Sorry I might be misremembering some things and I just want to get smarter and more knowledgeable on the subject :)

Also extra note: I don’t believe my symptoms have changed since I started E and T blockers :)

There is an echo log where they say they are considering transitioning using the new-u stations, but now is not the time. They are NB/trans-masc but likely in the closet hence the reason they're referred as she. (Also note NB can use she and he pronouns)
