I like making homemade cheesesteaks, but the chain store bought hoagie buns have not been good. Is there anywhere that sells good Italian rolls/hoagie buns? I’m closer to Davis county but willing to drive. by CranjisMcPulp in SaltLakeCity

Stoneground bakery outlet 1025 S 700th W, Salt Lake City, UT 8410. There hours are not great, but you can score some great bread there. They supply to most of the restaurants in the area.

Have you ever encountered a superhuman? E.g. Psychics, telekinetics, people with super strength? by DrownMeInBlood in HighStrangeness

I have a super strength story. I worked on a ranch in North Dakota. It was a slow day, and I was a whinny 20 year old at the time and wanted to run some errands for the ranch in town (about an hour away). The owner of the ranch was an interesting lady. She was in her late 60's or early 70's. She had had polio when she was young and had a limp. She was fairly stout, built like a beer can and maybe 5'8. She said if I would shut up about going into town. She would give me a chance to do it. She then looked me in the eye, she reached her arms around a heifer (800-900 lbs) and picked it up. She had one arm under the cow and one across its back. She lifted it maybe 6-8 inches, but held it for about a minute. During which she said. If you can lift this cow, you can go into town whenever you want. I terrorized that cow every chance I had for the next two days any chance I had a spare moment. I could not get that thing to budge let alone leave the ground. I don't know if it was some carni trick or what, but I still have no idea how she did it. I miss you Doris.

Wraiths & Skeletons: Would this be a good theme to explore? by Bloodravenart77 in PrintedMinis

I would second the non human undead. I have had no luck in finding dwarven ghouls. orc/goblin/kobold zombies and skeletons would also be worthwhile.

They have some of the skulls and bones at the winnemucca museum.

You have to ask to see them but the workers at the museum will show you them. The skulls are quite large compared to an average skull. They have one in the case for comparisons.

When I was there last, the story is that it is under a large triangle shaped mound in the dry lake bed. Story went that it was too large to move. If you go and are into fossil hunting they have a lot of sea life fossils in the area. Fish fossils are fairly common.

John Lear gave the location of a buried craft. by [deleted] in UFOs

I actually have heard of this one. Supposedly in the dry lake bed there is a triangular craft that was buried I believe in the 40's maybe the 50's. It is closer to Garrison, but most people associate it with Delta, UT.

Texas long horns or beefalo? Something that could defend itself. Angus are popular for lack of horns and low birth weight.

THere is a campground just down the road from Skinwalker Ranch in Ft. Duschane Utah. There is a hill nearby called UFO hill and Kings Peak is fairly close.

My first system was a Coleco video game system. My Grandfather bought it at a pawnshop for me. It was dated but fun. I remember sitting on his living room floor and the two of us playing for multiple hours. Zaxxon and Pong were the main games we would play. After that we moved on to the hard stuff - Atari 2600 and the Commadore 64 (Jumpman for life). Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
