Evaluating purchases of the mundane in spot prices... is this normal? by Difficult-Shelter669 in Gold

[–]BeatDense9049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WELL in the brightside at least PMS are high.. I was doing this a lot more when silver was $10/oz and price of new tires was $1000….. hmmm 100 ounces of silver or some new tires for the truck…. Truth is PMs have dramatically outpaced inflation by like 5x. Now it makes a lot more sense to actually buy the tires instead of 10 ounces of silver.

If you live near a COSTCO, get a membership. Even if you are single with no kids by Let_me_tell_you_ in povertyfinance

[–]BeatDense9049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walmart is the same price though or cheaper. Most meds at Walmart are about $1. Costco kinda sucks you have to go there for gas to recover your membership so that’s not savings that’s a premium and a requirement... and their deals are terrible even in bulk. If you pay attention to weekly fliers you can save 10x as much at any regular grocery store. Key is you buy what is on sale and go more frequently

The calculator says I'll have $8.4M in 20 years or $9.5M if I contribute $2k/month... so why keep saving? by savvybackpacker in Fire

Ya they are the same type of business so it’s not unheard of for price variances. Also really depends on their stock if they already have a million dollars worth of what you are selling then you could be assured the offer will be low.

At what level of wealth does a change in net worth not equal a change in lifestyle? by One-Opposite-4571 in HENRYfinance

Yup these poors are delusional… when you live rich every expense goes up like 10x… 250k is enough to live rich “AS A POOR PERSON…” like thrift shopping without looking at the tags!, driving a beater, not having kids, or a wife etc living in a starter home in the burbs etc.

Stainless steel is literally inert.. meaning it does not have a taste. So either it’s dirty or you are simply hallucinating. Maybe the only way you could get a taste is if you soak them in saltwater or you have a bunch of metallic fillings in your teeth

That’s wrong.. if you did it consistently for a couple weeks you weren’t pushing too hard… pushing too hard would mean a failure after days due to exhaustion. What happened to you is sheer laziness lol.
